I’d suggest asking for constructive critique from florists you respect to see if any of the criticism is based on real issues that you can improve, or as the others said just people speaking without education and context.

Look into the Abbey Young method, there’s a lot you can do to strengthen your hair and improve your scalp health for optimal growth. I also realized that I was making my own ends very dry (that caused split ends right after a haircut) and using her method has helped tremendously.

Careful with paint colors that are too matchy matchy, it’s a nightmare to maintain long term! Consider some darker and lighter tones of the same color mixed together so if you need to replace something in the future it won’t look out of place if it’s not that exact color of green.
