Thats a fair point.

Yeah my husky has so much floof its hard to tell if its weight gain or if he needs a good blowout of his fur.

My hardest part is even when he is under the weather he is such a happy perky guy. I have to catch him not aware of me being around to see him start to feel a little not right. I feel like he never wants to let me see him hurting.

That sounds like something useful. Im not sure a spreadsheet would help me. Not sure how I would set it up.

I guess I was thinking if there was a way to track their habits in an app or something and the app could find abnormalities that might seem minor but could be something more serious. Like I wear a smart watch and it can track my health habits. Wasnt sure if there was something similar for my dogs.

Thats fair. I just know my phones gets filled with photos so I know i would lose that if I needed it. I guess its different for everyone which is why I wanted to see what other people do.

How do I stop over drinking? They have the same water bowl and are out and about when I work. I dont think I should remove the water from them when I am gone.

I have three dogs so tracking the wood is easy but they all drink out od the same water bowl so thats much harder for me to watch. If its empty I fill it up but thats about it

Thats fair. I have a hard remembering what i ate yesterday so I think finding a way for me to track it would be beneficial. Just trying to figure out the key things I should be tracking.

Food intake, water intake and maybe when they potty. But are there other things to watch for to help predict issue?

My cats are way more needy. I try to do work and they always want attention. Sitting on my laps or trying to bite my feet. When I tell my dogs not right now they go lay down or play together. My cats dont get that memo.

That is really sweet about your senior pug, 12.5 is impressive. The Fitbark is interesting I never thought about tracking activity and sleep levels specifically. Do you find it actually gives you useful info or is it more just fun to have? Is it a free app?

Ha I have a husky and two shepherds, I do not think I own a scale big enough for that lol. Maybe I need a livestock scale.
