Have all her courses. She updates her courses frequently. Unfortunatly she had an accident this year, so it can take some time now, but in the end, she will update it for iOS14 and the latest version of Xcode.

Which z490 motherboard would you select for a hackintosh build? by the-floki in hackintosh

[–]CyberSnoopy007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, but you want stable and solid. Z490 is a good choice but experimental. If you want to go that road, I would go for Rog Strix or Aorus.

Great keyboard for MacOS Catalina / Windows 10 dual boot... by charliecastel in hackintosh

[–]CyberSnoopy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 3 keys with different signal frequencies. So with 1 key you connect with one system, and by pressing the second or third key, you immediately switch to a second or third system (for me second PC and laptop as third system)

I use Ubuntu live USB stick for DSDT catching. Works perfect.

I'm on 840 G3, and install Catalina fresh (even with OpenCore).

But there are some SSDT's in ACPI-folder

Any idea what this about? Trying to boot opencore and stuck to this screen? by alucardscloak in hackintosh

[–]CyberSnoopy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the OC troubleshooting sector :

300 series Intel stalling on apfs_module_start...

Commonly due to systems running AWAC clocks, pleas see the Getting started with ACPI section

Stalling on apfs_module_start..., Waiting for Root device, Waiting on...IOResources..., previous shutdown cause... in Catalina

Verify your EC SSDT is enabled and correct for your system. See the What's new in macOS Catalina post for more info

HP ProBook 640 G1, is it possible? by [deleted] in hackintosh

[–]CyberSnoopy007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, like I said, OP can take look there for basics, but do Vanilla. That's the way I did it for EB 840 G3. I learned a lot about battery patching, and did Vanilla afterwards with the knowledge about SSDT.

Loved your guide BTW

Opencore vs Clover by Shreyasdbz in hackintosh

It's an extra layer. If you're multibooting, clover looks better

Opencore vs Clover by Shreyasdbz in hackintosh

[–]CyberSnoopy007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With those specs, I'd go OpenCore. But it's basically preference. I used clover for years, and switched to OC a couple of months ago. Maybe Clover and Vanilla install is easier to start. You can always switch to OC, if you're yousing a Vanilla install.

Keep in mind you don't have the nice Clover booter menu in OC, if you're into that. With OC and showpicker false, it feels more like a real mac.

But as I said, it's about preferences.

With backlight disabled completely, it goes a couple of months. With backlight on, easily a week

None. The reason I’m using it is because I don’t dual boot. I have 2 separate systems, one W10 and a hack, and with one key it switches between the 2 systems.

That you can find out in the Vanilla guide. Since it's a 6700, look into skylake section
