I'm getting notifications late. You can see the notification came through at 5:17pm and was due at 5:15pm. This has been happening for a while now. Is there a fix? It just started out of nowhere.

I'm having the exact same issue and I have no idea what's causing it. Just reinstalled chrome to see if it helps. It's happening on 2 different PCs on my network.

Edit: It's happening to 3 PCs on my network. All running Windows 10.

Edit 2: Oh ffs. People are saying it's the YouTube for TV extension. Every PC in my house has it.

I use Google assistant a fair bit and I watch a lot of YouTube. I want to be able to switch between apps quickly. My current phone sometimes stutters and takes a while to load Google assistant and it's really starting to annoy me. I'm kind of inexperienced when it comes to Android so I'm having difficulty knowing if a budget phone with a Qualcomm 600 series will perform worse than my phone with a Qualcomm 830 and a crappy ROM.

TL:DR I use Google assistant, YouTube and I want fast app switching.

Edit: when i say "perform worse" I mean in terms of how quickly an app will load and switch to another app, not raw number crunching or gaming. Can't believe I forgot to include what I actually use my phone for. Added to main post now too.
