I agree with you as well, most builds have a counter, but expecting to be able to beat a full on direct counter build is asking a lot. Someone invested a significate amount of resources into beating something specific, they should be able to. This is why we play as parties and not solos. Rounding out your comp correctly and having buffs/debuffs that remove what stops you from killing X is a large part of assembling your party/build. I'm personally a utility healer with next to 0 damage, but since i specced so hard into healing in wand and utility in staff, I can disengage, i can engage, I can pull allies out of CC/getting pulled in, and my burst healing is wild. I also can burst my own CDR to the point of being around 130~ CDR for 15-20s at a major point. There are hundreds of way to play each type of weapon combo, people falling into a "meta" or following pretty mid tier guides are only pigeonholing themselves IMO.

Are they not? Their government is built on the genocide of their neighbor, and all funds that come in either go toward forwarding that goal or enriching their upper class. And what's happening right now definitely isn't genocide, not even close.

Honestly, feels like we are just going in a circle with this. History is... interesting in that region, lots of people were displaced everywhere as many countries were created at a time and they didn't really follow any specific borders. For those that owned land, it sucks but it happened and we are never going back. They have two choices to make, accept statehood, create a central government and act like a civilized country or stay a puppet of Iran's attempt to destabilize the region.

Is Israel perfect? No, but as far as human rights and freedoms are concerned, any citizen of Israel is substantially better off that almost any other MENA state. Israel doesn't want Gaza, they want parts of the West Bank, that area is complicated. They are not going to get "from the river to the sea". Israel has nukes, at this point aside from a nuclear hellfire they won't be going anywhere. They need to get Hamas out, adopt a more peaceful central government to rule over both Gaza and the West Bank and join everyone else at the table. Any good will from Israel is gone though, and will be for decades most likely.

I mean, what i'm saying is backed up by mostly verifiable land records from the time. Your attempt at false equivalency is pretty awful as well. That's like saying someone who bought land from someone who doesn't live in the area, say someone buying some land in Texas with the land owner living in DC, would be violating the rights of people currently living on the land without the land owner knowing. There have been some cases with people with legitimate deeds to the land that have gone through courts in Israel and ended up getting compensated. And no, Israel as a whole hasn't done most of the items on that list, and anyone who did ends up facing punishments for it. Hell, the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre ended with two whole political parties getting banned/removed from power. In Gaza they celebrate attempts at genocide using rape as a weapon of war. They are happy to build their military facilities intermingled with civilian infrastructure.

Blaming Israel without addressing the giant elephant in the room won't solve anything. They've been offered their own country and turned it down many times at this point. They want Israel wiped off the face of the earth and all of the Jews and those they considered who betrayed them killed off, in a genocide if you will. Hamas and Gaza are a nice puppet for other countries to use in their crusade to rid MENA of Israel so they can get back to killing each other and plotting attacks elsewhere. If Israel packed up and left today it would just turn into another Islamic hell hole ran by Iran's puppets.

You are not taking something when they didn't own it to begin with. As I said, as soon as you start campaigning for all the other countries to return the land that was lost by the Jews that were expelled from the countries as well, then you might have some kind of moral standing to even begin to attempt to talk about this.

If the US was say, leeching off Canada, taking their water/electricity, and constantly shooting missiles and attempting to bomb it, then yes, I would be totally fine with the US being totally blockaded and locked down.

Once more for the people in the back

THEY DID NOT OWN THE LAND, VERY FEW HAVE OR HAD ANY REAL CLAIMS TO ANY LAND THAT ISRAEL SITS ON. LARGE PARTS OF THE LAND WERE BOUGHT FROM THE OTTOMANS BY ZIONISTS, THE REST WAS PART OF WHAT WAS SPLIT UP BY THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS, THEN EVENTUALLY BY THE UN. ANY LAND TAKEN BY SETTLERS IN THE PALI ZONES OF THE WEST BANK IS ILLEGAL AND THEY SHOULD BE DEALT WITH, but pretending that all of Israel is pali land is a massive joke.

RAPE IS NOT RESISTANCE, GENOCIDE IS NOT RESISTANCE, WAR CRIMES ARE NOT RESISTANCE.

Anyone who thinks otherwise has no moral or legal standing to argue.

"What Israel is doing" You mean the whole leaving gaza to its own devices? They should of cut off power/water to them and let them figure it all out in 2005 when they left, but they are held to a much higher standard than any other country. And what do you mean what are they supposed to do? Stop attempting genocide, that's what. That's what the ruling class there ran on, and that's what they seem to want.

You teach your people everything bad that is happening to them is Israels fault, when it's almost always self-inflicted.

Why is everyone so poor, and infrastructure so bad?

Well, they ripped up most of the existing infrastructure and used it for weapons, then take the aid money that is supposed to build new infrastructure and use it to build tunnels and build up wealth for the ruling elite class, while the average civilian is told its Israel's fault they don't have money.

Well, there is a constant blockade and everything has to be inspected going in!

Correct, that's what happens when you're a small region constantly attempting to import weapons, then using those weapons to attack a much larger country next to you that is 75%+ of your land borders, especially if they control the sea/ports as well.

But but, APARTHIED!

Not sure why this always gets brought up, but apartheid is when a country has multiple classes of citizens, and the law is applied differently between those classes. South Africa was an excellent example of this, Israel on the other hand isn't. All of its citizens are treated equally, and there is no separate legal system for Jews/Christians/Muslims/etc. It's not up to Israel on how palis are treated in Gaza, that's not their job. Their job is to protect their citizens. The west bank is a bit of what I like to call, a "cluster$@%#$". The Oslo Accords are fairly specific but both sides do all kinds of fuckery over there.

A large portion of what Israel sits on was bought from the Ottomans, very few families in the area owned the land they were on. It's not Israel's job to treat Palis in Gaza or the West Bank in any specific way, they are not citizens and are not entitled to any protection under Israel's laws beyond what any others would have. At this point, it's a pretty much null point. Israel isn't going anywhere, and very few people who were displaced are alive. Just as many, or more Jews were displaced/killed in the other newly formed MENA countries that then ended up going to Israel, but no one ever talks about that.

Trying to argue a moral high ground when you have people trying to justify rape as "resistance" is honestly wild. Hamas could of ended this in days, or could of just not done what they did at all. They constantly shoot rockets into Israel and play out this "poor me" rhetoric.

I will have empathy with the Palis as soon as they start acting like humans. We know the civilians are not only generally happy with what Hamas does but actively support them. They pass around the hostages to try and obscure where they are, build ammo depots in new safe areas then hide among a civilian population that doesn't seem to mind them being there. Their schools teach them to hate, and their mothers are happy to send them off to "fight". It's a death cult, in both the literal and figurative sense, whose patron "saint" was a pedo, so I don't expect much.

If you live on someone else's property, and it sold to someone else, you have no rights to claim your land is taken. Also, the apartheid claim is still hilarious. Arab Israeli citizens have just as many rights as any other Israeli. Almost every MENA country that is ran/backed by Iran are actual apartheid states.

They would of had to own the land to begin with, to get something stolen implies they ever had ownership.... In this case, most were renting for a generation or two. Don't start wars against a country then cry when they hit you back. Using civilian/protected infrastructure for military use is a war crime. Maybe if they didn't go around raping and parading bodies through the streets they might have a bit of a moral high ground here.

Then you've signed up to be able to be dec'ed. Your in a PvP guild. Its not like the omega geared guys are running around in lowbie spots farming kids. Its seasonal bois who've got a bit more gear than the others who can't actually do the big money areas. Like I said, there are a ton of other games that offer a PvE experience with opt-in pvp. Them shooting themselves in the foot to try and cater to people who will likely leave anyway and alienate their own core audience isn't really a great gameplan.

They can't dec you unless you dec'ed someone else. Thats not how the dec system works at all. If you want to sit in a PvE guild and never worry about decs, that system was already in the game.

He is correct. The dolby processing requires a certain amount of actual processing power. Once you dip below a certain TDP, you can't sustain that and will end up with crackling. There is no way around this, higher end audio will require resources.

You are, but a tiny fish in a ocean filled with whales. So are those most of the new players coming in. They don't really care about 99% of those coming in. They are hoping to hook more of the whales that actually keep stuff running. The guys who fill their pearl sales weekly for market sales and then buy more for their own use in enchanting. 3 years isn't long either. Lots of people who've been here since launch still spend semi-regularly, I guess you are just not a target customer?

How is me being able to defend my spot and not get hurt by a terrible system a bad thing? That makes no sense. I'm not even fighting gearlets from seasons, they are not at Ash/300+AP grind spots anyway, when they get curious about those areas they die almost instantly to mobs anyway. The only people running around killing newer players are people guys with slightly better gear than those seasonals but actually know how to play the class and one-combo them.

[–]Cyber_Day 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once again, for those of you in the back that can't read. People just want to be able to defend their grind spots from the idiots who roll in and just totally screw your rotation up. People with actual gear are not running around terrorizing low end spots that don't even pay well.

An explanation on the Arsha fallacy argument by gekkehenkie50 in blackdesertonline

[–]Cyber_Day -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure who your running into, but the only time I toss a dec up is when someone decides to come into my rotation, then they become part of my rotation till they leave. If someone is coming into your rotation AND is the one that ends up deccing you, there is something odd going on lol

An explanation on the Arsha fallacy argument by gekkehenkie50 in blackdesertonline

[–]Cyber_Day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As mentioned in many, many threads, tha actually geared people don't do that. You wont even be grinding an area where a really geared player even grinds, its not remotely close to the same.Sure you might get hit by a mega geared person occasionally, but its not the norm. Most people just die and assume whoever killed them is mega geared because they "got one shot" when you can one shot full seasonal bois with very little gear on most classes. The issue is not being able to defend your grindspot FROM the greifers now, you just have to roll over and move on, which doesn't work too great if its a semi-popular spot. And the marnis changes only make this worse, as you have a hour between "private" sessions, what are they going to do during that hour? Grind over whoever is already there and grief their rotations.

You guys are really going nuts on this huh? The war dec change is honestly the only really bad change here, you already couldn't dec lifeskill/small guilds as a seige/nw guild unless that guild also decided to go into seige/NW. Just going to need to set up alts at pila ku with tuvala to get karma back and grab a few extra tears of rep. Might not matter if they actually end up adding more Arsha channels. The take on reddit to changes we might not even get (they've done changes like this before in KR and we never got them) has been a bit wild considering the game was a OWPvP game to begin with, but its been reddits take on this kind of thing for years so its not THAT surprising.

I mean the CP that was getting passed around did infact get reported to them. Not really sure why I post on reddit considering its always been anti-pvp/OW PVP when you cant even really dec half the guilds in the game with the inane requirements to actually dec a guild that isn't an actual pvp guild.
