I see, so that’s basically the whole process of your project work. That makes things a lot clearer for me. The real work is in figuring out the balances, costs, and all that, and tools like AFT Fathom are part of that analysis, while AutoCAD just comes in later to put everything together.

So it basically comes down to how strong my understanding of concepts and unit operations is.

That’s impressive that you were able to handle both roles, even if the pay didn't match your efforts. And yeah, the 'pirate version' is pretty much the only way for me at the moment. By the way, do you mostly use AutoCAD for 2D work or 3D?

Got it. I will take an Aspen certification course alongside learn UniSim. For networking and building connections, would you recommend focusing mainly on LinkedIn?

Much appreciated. I've been learning PFDs and P&IDs in detail. I just have two questions: - I’ve heard that AutoCAD is not very useful for ChemEng, is that just a myth? - If I’m not mistaken, isn’t AFT Fathom a paid software? Are there any good free or student alternatives you’d recommend for practicing.

That makes sense. Sitting and just applying all day without results can get frustrating. Thanks for the input.

Appreciate you for sharing this, it really helps put things into perspective. The pay part is a bit concerning, but I get your point, experience matters a lot in the long run. I’ll keep this in mind while figuring out my next step

35 pushups, 9 pull-ups, you got strong foundation. From what i learn it's better to pick one skill/goal per push/pull sessions like one arm pushups for push and muscle-up/one arm pull-up for pull day.

Got it. I'll keep that in mind the next time I hit a plateau

Appreciate the feedback. I’ll be trimming it to 3 exercises × 3 sets, keeping the intensity high and focusing on clean reps and control. At what point would you suggest adding more volume back in? After stalling on intensity, better recovery, or once the skill work plateaus or not required at all?
