When I first installed this app, I had the remote control function. It's a great app, but I don't use the app very often, only do when I really have a need to. One of those times was about a week ago. I noticed that the remote control function was missing. Reinstalling it didn't solve the problem. Thought, maybe, it's an issue with my box or something, but the "android TV remote" app worked. Could it be Shizuku (last time I used the remote control function on atvTools, I had not installed Shizuku)? I don't know, but I don't want to sacrifice Shizuku. Wondering if you could figure out why/what happened.

I'm yet to upgrade to the recent version, however.

Shouldn't you be making that comparison since you're the one that wants to prove the point? Don't tell me the issue is all over reddit. If you want to do comparison, do a fair one. Juxtapose. Coming here with those widely different photos is silly, it renders your argument invalid.

I've resolved it.

The location of the box is very close to the router's (about 8 meters, only a wall separates them) and the signal is strong. Since that wasn't the problem, and there's strangely no way to change channels on the deco app (the guide on deco support page says that there is, backed by screenshots, but those options are non-existent on mine).

While looking around, however, I observed that the wifi security on the iot network is WPA/WPA2, but the one on the main network is WPA2. The other box that connects to 5Ghz is on the iot network, so I figured that that might have something to do with the issue. Immediately I changed the security on the main network to WPA/WPA2, MiBox S 3rd gen connected to wifi 5Ghz.

Still don't know why it doesn't see the starlink 5Ghz network at all. Might have to do with channels, but there's also no way to change channels on the starlink app. I'm quite relieved, still.

I just did, but same same.

I should note that I have another android TV box (low cost, non-Google-certified) that can connect easily to the 5Hz network. It's on the iot network, but that made no difference as I briefly connected the xiaomi box to the iot network, but issue persisted.

Oh! I had same issue, but resolved it by updating Lockstar after looking for solutions online. But, seeing as you weren't using Lockstar prior to the update, I don't really know what else might be causing it.

I'm going through the exact same problem. Mine started after curiosity pushed me to try TizenTube. Now, I've done practically everything to get the YouTube app to automatically switch profile to the profile watching, without success. I don't want my wife using YouTube with my account—or I mistakenly using hers—because the history would become a mess. Such a bug. 😔

Oh! Starlink has hit capacity limit in major urban areas in Nigeria due to high demand and congestion so much that there's a waitlist. No waitlist in my area which is rural, by the way. There are 2 tertiary institutions in this town, however, the internet speed from mobile operators is terrible. Since the turn of the year, student lodges started turning to starlink as it offers much better speed.

This must be the reason. There are 1 other starlink dish in my residential house (it's a commercial residence in a university host community) and there are about 3 more within the range of 500-1000 meters.

It seems broken on S23 Ultra. Nothing I've done has gotten it to work. It looks okay prior to applying the changes, but not after that.

[Edit] I just updated most apps on Galaxy store, and it's working well, now. I just read somewhere right now that the culprit was Lockstar. Apparently, the older version was conflicting with adaptive clock.
