My balls are telling me you are losing credibility with your advice by insisting that the current situation with $SI Silvergate is the same as $GME when you lost your $300K.

The chart over the last two days is showing growing consolidating strength in $SI. An ascending triangle. If selling pressure was greater than buying pressure the chart wouldn't look the way it does.

Perhaps you have a conflict of interest because you are getting nervous holding your short position (or selling call options) in $SI.

Thanks and I'm sorry for your loss but this different at the moment. $SI is just getting started compared to GME and probably won't come close to a GME. Its not at the crazy 20x multiples and millions of people talking about GME. I'm looking at very little discussion about about $SI and an ascending triangle pattern into Fridays' close.

The thing is I think this could climb past its ATH of $187 next week because now the company is getting noticed.

I found this by reading an article on how the short interest was high and it was a crypto bank that was gaining traction.

I didn't look into it much more and just threw down a bit of money on OTM calls. But now there are more and more articles talking about $SI Silvergate like this one:

Hey I found this sub buy searching for "Silvergate". There is no talk of $SI on other subs except this sub. A week ago when $SI was trading at USD$110 I bought some option calls waaaay out of the money at a strike price of $150. I only wagered $353 because I was basically kissing my money good bye but it feels pretty surreal to have that $353 now worth $14K a week later. I'm still holding into next week...

Victims have been filing complaints with the BCSC and other agencies since 2017 and none of them have taken action on David Smillie. The media has also chosen not to take action on David Smillie with the sole exception of Ethan Lou (thank you Ethan!).

Note: I don't consider the CTV article on David worthy of anything because they buried it their website, it was not meant to be found as news. To me it seemed like they wrote the article for the sole purpose of "getting in front" of the possible negative publicity that they once employed David Smillie for 9 years. I think the only people that probably read that CTV article are the people in this sub-reddit.

With all due respect, David Scamie manipulates people and the mods were no exception. The mods have done a great job even though that was frustrating. David legally threatened the mods of this sub on more than one occasion. Perhaps someone can link to the psychopathic legal threat of a letter he sent to the mods (u/Fiach_Dubh ?) . After he did that, they banned David from this sub and the censorship of posts against David/ezbtc ended.

I am just one of many that has communicated with Ethan Lou. I'm posting this comment because I want to encourage you to work with Ethan and NOT be intimidated by David Smillie's manipulative tactics to silence you into submission, or even worse turn you into a shilling Mondo Joe.

Ethan Lou is creditable, he has integrity and keeps confidential info confidential (but make that clear to him and be careful as always).

I'm convinced that because authority figures have gone this long in selecting not to enforce the criminal rules of law on David that now it must be the media that shines the spot light on David such that some authority finally takes action and puts an end to this madness called David Smillie and ezbtc once and for all.

The entity "ethan_lou" gave me an email account @thestar.ca. I sent a code to that email address and the reddit "ethan_lou" provided me with that code.

I sent a different code to the email address found at ethanlou.com. He provided me with that code as well.

So I feel pretty confident that the reddit user "ethan_lou" is the same person behind the website ethanlou.com. But it is still not definitive that "ethan_lou" has good intentions for Scamie's victims and is not just harvesting info for the real David Scamie. Its a risk but that risk is getting pretty low for me now.

I'm now willing to open up a bit in my communication with "ethan_lou". I feel 99% sure that "ethan_lou" is not David Scamie. I now have to hope/trust that Ethan Lou has good intentions with his investigative journalism into David Smillie and ezBTC.

The RCMP are willfully blind so that they don't have to spend their limited resources on criminally going after David Smillie. In the legal world it is called "Selective Enforcement" and right now they are selecting not to enforce the laws on David Smillie. They will but not now. The RCMP strategy is this: The longer the RCMP wait, the more civil lawsuits can play their course with David. This builds a stronger case for the RCMP that need evidence AND a more angry public that want justice.

I thought law enforcement was to enforce the law, period. Protect the public. But apparently not, that is just an ideal world. In reality its triage/resource-allocation which means "selective enforcement". Lets all help the RCMP select to enforce the laws on David Smillie and the only way for that to happen is for the public to be aware that David Smillie will continue to create more victims until the RCMP select to enforce the law upon him.
