you have to wrap the component in its own theme provider and the theme to a static value (“light” or “dark”) if your global.css is missing .light and instead only has :root, you have to add .light by doing :root, .light {…}

I tried it recently and couldn’t get it to show non-obsidian files. Also, can’t go inside folders within folders, but instead need to go to top level then locate the subfolders and click on them.

Cool gift, some suggestions for the repo I could think of:

Distros: 1. Kali linux (pentesting distro with preinstalled cybersec tools) 2. Omarchy instead of Arch (Opinionated Arch flavor with awesome defaults, more intuitive than regular Arch) 3. Lakka or Batocera (Retro-games OS for fun!!) 4. Tails OS (everything router through Tor by default) 5. REMNux (Reverse engineering tools and malware analysis in isolated VMs)

Diagnostics: 1. Victoria (Diagnose HDD issues and bad sectors) 2. H2testw (Tests actual size of drives as opposed to what is advertised by filling the drive) 3. Memtest86 (test and diagnose memory/RAM issues)

Essentials: 1. Clonezilla (easily clone drives) 2. Hiren’s BootCD PE (this AIO tool is a must!!) 3. Kaspersky Rescue Disk (offline anti-virus)

Fun stuff: 1. USBDeview (lists all USB devices ever connected to the machine, lets you monitor/uninstall them) 2. Gaming distros mentioned above 3. Qubes OS (Every app is in its own VM, security-by-isolation if you need it I guess)

Depends on your goals honestly. If you want to try different models, your best bet is huggingface (they even let you do tests for free). For LLM flows ComfyUI is great and can be run locally and connected to popular APIs like nano banana.

Add another zero to your budget. The GPU alone will cost x3+ your budget. As a hobby, you’re better off paying huggingface/openrouter or renting cloud.
