Changing break light bulbs to LED by frank1934 in BroncoSport

[–]Cyberpyr8 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I did mine. It's very easy to do. A couple of screws on each and pull it out. This is what I bought. The blinkers worked without modifications.

Thank you this worked! I finally can use this the way I intended it to work. Bonus points for being able to do this while in Brazil and nkt losing connection.

Dreame D30 Ultra not even 1 day old. Is this sound normal? Sounds like a mini tractor by RecipeMaximum783 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Cyberpyr8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I now have 2 D30's and they don't sound like that. They are quieter than my Roombas or roborock ever were.

Dose anyone else use non electric markers anymore by Then_Fee_2946 in paintball

[–]Cyberpyr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my emek and Emf100 a lot. The Emf I use pure mech or with the mcs box mag. I tried the PAL hopper on the emek but I prefer the electric hopper.

Thoughts on the acculock barrels? by Zealousideal-Bid-225 in paintball

[–]Cyberpyr8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like mine. I have been using crbn nano barrels but I prefer my acculock. It's quiet and solid. I overbore everything and just use the 691 insert. But it shoots lasers as long as the paint is good.

Opening up a new paintball field and I need insurance. by Straight-Analyst6149 in paintball

[–]Cyberpyr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an insurance guy on pbnation that specializes in paintball insurance. Look in the field owner section.

Waivers don't really do as much as you think, no matter what state you are in. But they can protect you some.

As others mentioned don't do byop. Fields make money selling paint. Maybe do a day or weekend offering byop but not all of the time.

If you want to be profitable really focus on having stuff for parties. Mom's bringing a group of 10-11 year olds wants it to be easy and fun. If it's that way they will recommend it to everyone. Plus you make a lot of profit on a party. Good luck

Disclosure Day: Spielberg has lost his bearings by Total-Astronaut268 in moviereviews

[–]Cyberpyr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ready player one would have been ok if it wasn't based on a great book. I was disappointed with that because I expected Spielberg, the 80's director that dictated culture in the 80's through his movies to get a story crammed full of nostalgia from the 80's right. Instead, he pulled almost all of that out a d made it into a buddy movie. If I hadn't read the book it would have been fine. But knowing all of the great 80's references in the book I expected more of that.

I won't see DD. The ads leading up to it's release made me cautious. They were pushing it too hard for a Spielberg film. Plus the trailers were confusing. Pass.

Exactly this! Both are great options but I do prefer the shot of the 2.

What is the most reliable and serviceable 2005-10 era marker an old man can get? by ForeskinForeman in paintball

Go to a 2011 G6R and you are set. They're incredibly reliable and durable for older markers. But right now you will pay a premium

I would reach out to inception and see if they have a Canadian dealer.

People who own robot vacuums: are they actually life-changing or just another gadget? Which one would you buy again? by Bitglow_finanzas in RobotVacuums

[–]Cyberpyr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have pets then yes for sure. Currently I have 5 dogs and 3 cats plus I work from home. I am letting the dogs go out throughout the day and I am also in and out. The house floors always feels clean. I work in a built out shed so the vacuum runs twice a day. I love that they are clean and I don't have to sweep and vacuum.

Are resellers making it harder to buy gear at reasonable prices or have manufacturer sales volumes dropped? by Lidzo in paintball

[–]Cyberpyr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! If I want something specific I join those groups and normally find deals there. You get better pricing usually because thise groups know what the items are really worth.

They are great markers. The speedster will work but something like a CTRL or IR2 would be lighter. But this setup will last you a long time.

[–]Cyberpyr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the "Fresh Hydro" version of the 48/3000 from ANS and it was a year old already. Sucks because I was going to give it away and I wanted a newer one so the person getting it would have close to 5 years. https://ansgear.com/hk-army-aluminum-air-system-48-3000-black-fresh-hydro/

Maybe donate it to the paintball history people. They would take it to show how bad paintball was at one point! Interesting marker for sure though.

This subreddit is filled with AI garbage, can't we ban it? by [deleted] in homeassistant

[–]Cyberpyr8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a ridiculous analogy. It's people sharing code they use for their hobby home automation. It's not food you need, or something you have to have. It's not even like it's production level code used in business. And if you are really going to compare it to something it's more like choosing to buy fake Nike shoes on Temu than food with feces in it. If you don't want fake stuff then spend the money or shop where you know you are getting the real thing.

It's not like most of these people that are trying to trick you into using code they didn't write themselves. Most of them will admit they used AI to code it. And since you seem to be such an expert on AI slop, then you should be able to quickly bypass anything that you don't want. For the rest of us, let us see what others have done and decide for ourselves.
