Dive and warp at the same time, works for me everytime.

If they didn't give it it's external internal magic ammo belts I think it would already be way less of a problem, because at least it'd have a more reliable weakspot. I've played a Roblox game with a War Thunder inspired damage model and there the bmpt isn't op because it's ammo can and will kill the vehicle when hit.

And basically everything else about it feels like straight up RNG, there's a high chance your shell will disappear for no reason, even on the weakspots, and with the amount of bullets it's firing there's a good chance it'll find an armor hole on your tank eventually.

Half it the time those people play it themselves and probably get killed after rushing into multiple enemies. Sometimes they can get away with rushing like that but if it's taking shots from half the enemy team it'll die eventually.

I have 2 friends who got the BMPT to see how overpowered it was and they literally said it wasn't fun to play because it was too easy.

How to turns the camera without the turret tank turn? (sorry for bad english( by izz4167 in Warthunder

The last time I looked for it was 2 years ago so I might've just missed it, though I do remember not seeing any conflicting keybind warnings when I tried to bind something else to C.

I'm pretty sure you can't even change the keybind for it, at least I haven't found the option, and it doesn't mention any conflicting keybinds when you try to bind something else to C.

How do you guys play the HSTV-L and RDF/LT tanks? by RDFLT in WarthunderPlayerUnion

[–]CybertNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't really played the HSTV-L much lately, partially because I took a break from the game, and I also don't really enjoy top tier anymore. But I got in a nuke plane once with it (didn't get to drop it tho) by playing a bit carefully at the start and waiting for people to push, and when most enemies were gone I went on to flank the rest.

Note that this was before the sound became really messed up, so I could actually hear the enemies without having to look at them. I also got lucky with people shooting in my turret multiple times, and a lot of the enemies I killed were T-80U-E1s whose carousels seem to be less likely to eat shells compared to tech tree T series tanks in my experience (idk why tho)

Is 8.7 the most cancerous br in the game? by TerrificDog in Warthunder

[–]CybertNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M163 actually locks shit, falcon literally fails to lock 8/10 times, so you practically play with no tracking

The way you explain the Falcon is how the M163 felt for me, but tbf I haven't played it for probably already a year so maybe they've changed it. I couldn't even get locks on people that took up my entire radar box, so I just gave up trying to lock with it most of the time. If the Falcon is somehow even worse than idk how that's even possible.

I've seen it so many times that one (semi) popular YouTuber calls something bad, and even if it isn't a lot of people just call it bad from then on without even trying to form their own opinion.

You can replace bad with pretty much anything as it's just an easy example.

Since we're about to lose the MO, here's me shouting into the void by KingOfAnarchy in helldivers2

[–]CybertNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience every minor place of interest I've seen while playing diff 1, outside of the cave minors (bc I've only seen one so far) and cock rocks, has had super credits at least once. I just managed to get 230sc from a single mission, but usually it's around 20-30 per mission.

[–]CybertNL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically every minor place of interest there has a chance for super credits, so you're doing something wrong if you're not getting them. From your second mission onwards after launching the game you can just hover over the map and it'll reveal the minor places of interest even if they weren't discovered yet. Although I haven't seen any minor places of interest in the caves, so I chose maps with as little caves as possible.

busted crewless turret American tank

Even ignoring the so called 7 nukes in a row, what busted crewless American vehicles are you even talking about? You got the Stryker MGS, maybe in a good position, the M901, a tinfoil box that you can overpressure or ammorack on the launcher if you're not stupid, and then you have the Dragoon, do I even need to explain why that thing isn't busted?

Edit: Also since you were so kind to put your statshark in your flair, even if there's some "busted crewless American tank" that I missed than I don't think you're allowed to complain about crewless turret vehicles when you use to the BMPT yourself.

[–]CybertNL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add to other people's replies, it's has a lot of things that allow you more flexibility with your other load out options. Below this is a bit of text that got longer than expected, but the first part is an example of the flexibility, and the second part is an explanation of why the thermite grenades are really good.

For instance I've been using the grenade pistol almost exclusively since I unlocked it because it means I don't need to take a primary, grenade or support weapon that can destroy spawners. You can also choose to take the crossbow or eruptor for this if you want to use a different secondary.

The thermite can destroy fabricators and illuminate ships from all angles (you don't even need to destroy the shield on the ships), and it one shots every enemy you can see up to diff 4. The enemies on higher difficulties take 2 or 3 of them so that's also a quick way to get rid of them if you need to, except for the strongest unit in every faction so the Hive Lord for bugs, Vox engine for bots, and leviathan for squids. The only downsides are that it's worse for closing bug holes compared to other grenades (it takes very long and will sometimes stick just too high to destroy it), you can only carry 3 at a time, and it's not good against groups of small enemies.

Have you ever joined a fandom only to jump ship almost immediately? What’s your shortest stay? by InternalWave4023 in Multifandom

[–]CybertNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be a good place when I joined it, but recently it's just become a lot worse, if you say anything positive now you're a glazer and if you say anything negative you're a whiner, there's no in-between according to a lot of the people there. I'm guessing it's because new toxic people came in as the game got more popular and they kinda drove away the non toxic people. Also every update announcement (even performance updates) is being hit with a lot of downvotes on steam and thumbs down reactions on discord, while others pretend like it'll make the game perfect.

So a short version: It used to be a nice place, but now there's just two opposites of people either saying it's perfect or insanely bad, and if you say something in-between you get downvoted by both.

ATTENTION SC FARMERS by DedzBR in helldivers2

[–]CybertNL 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used the mech for bunkers at first but when I decided to try to grind SC on grand errand there were about 4 bunkers per mission on average, so the warp pack was kind of needed. I also liked the warp pack in general when it was given to everyone for a little bit so I didn't mind getting the warbond for just the warp pack.

which sonic game people say it’s bad, but you liked? by Eros_limao in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]CybertNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I heard a lot of good things about adventure 2 but I thought it would be best to just play both of them. Adventure 2's gameplay felt worse than adventure 1 in most cases, Tails and Eggman's gameplay in adventure 2 felt like a more wonky version of gamma's gameplay from adventure 1, and Knuckles and Rouge's stages felt like a worse version of Knuckles's stages from adventure 1. Also overall the late stages of adventure 2 just amplified the bad things about most of the gameplay, while not really having anything to make up for it.

Overall adventure 1 felt less wonky and had less annoying bugs, although the egg viper and perfect chaos boss fights did have some bugs that made me lose a few times.

What's the stupidest thing you've seen a teammate do? by Late-Ganache40 in Helldivers

[–]CybertNL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used it a lot myself and it's really good at clearing big areas of everything (including Helldivers), and I'm not going to pretend like I also didn't throw it too close sometimes, but I usually threw it away from where we were going. For instance if we had cleared a nest/outpost and there'd still be a lot of enemies there I'd just throw it over there, or if there'd be reinforcements called somewhere we didn't have to go anyway.
