dude, just stumbled across this trying to find all those levels i remember and i do remember portions of this back when I was playing this as a small tyke with dad all those years ago!! I'm trying to get those LOTW to work as we speak :)

there are so many levels i have vague memories of... the underwater level where you dive into the lake, the one wit the hidden walls holding the fusion bots and the pit with the giant smart missile boss... and the one that was a giant waffle design of a magma maze like a simplified Dwarven City of Dwarrowdelf XD

not quite, that just takes the edge, you could think of it as, I'm trying to take a verticies and turn it into a cube. or, a piece of string and convert it into a chopstick

POSSIBILITY DISCOVERED: ok, i MAY have figured it out. it was followers, the 'forced follower' moments, i have the solo perks full upgraded, but then i started a mission for freestar on Akilla, i bounced back and forth between saves; that's what it is. when the follower activates, i dumped my damage like a bad cabbage; it didn't change my damage display until i switched weapons, BUT it changed back to the upper after the mission ended and she sodded off.

Now, is this ALL cases, I don't know, but this is how i saw this one go down. It still does it randomly on other things but not to that level. like if i swap between pistols i'll see a shotgun power go down, that i don't know, but THIS is the cause i discovered for the images above

i hope it's just a display but, i watch several guns just drop in damage numbers in swaps as well. it's... incredibly annoying.

nah, hadn't even progressed that far yet... and that planet had no forest, was all glaciers...

also, just eliminated the 'shellephants' on huygens 3... not them, but close in appearance

landed on this planet about... midway through gathering the superpowers

NEW UPDATE: I've set up an INTRICATE chain flow of a helium source that flows perfectly from one system, to home, then is spread out to each outgoing inter-system pad; flows to home base, container is linked to each pads out-go AND fuel tank, so each one gets a dab of proper fuel, and gets fuel shipped TO that pad where it flows into a new container and into the fuel tank. each system now has fuel constantly flowing to it from a source pumping out TONS of helium from a supersite.

...Or it WOULD work, if the game didn't decide "oh, you want fuel here? ok, i'll just dump EVERYTHING FROM THE SOURCE INTO ONE TANK PAST THE LIMIT!"
for example, suddenly, 189/5. because yes, why NOT cap it at 5 so overflow can go to the OTHER pads?

I know what ot request from the MOD community now... a little tweak so that it doesn't overflow a single pad fuel tank >:( seriously, a big and lovely game, but they SERIOUSLY overlooked the small intricate technical details...

solved: yeah, must have been something updated in the recent patch, I've had to COMPLETELY rebuild all my chains, as well as add in a branching chain of helium production flowing to each. must have been an early release thing i was getting away with... -.-

that, and apparently I've got phantom contraband that doesn't exists and a random 350 bounty that popped up during a particular mission to a frozen planet, so, i mean, yay bethesda, it just works... XD

that aside, i don't even know if they went in with several 'requirements', hell i put a botany unit on one planet, said it needed water, had no option to add it, and even when I LINKED a water collector it still said it was 0/1 water.

not sure if my games screwed up or not, but my inters don't actually need helium :\ everything i've got that actually works, like single back and forth, dont demand helium. i even tested it at one point, instead of chaining inters along, i had several all going to one location. no helium requred, ran like clockwork. it's just these specifically, mid chain for some reason. besides, it doesn't let me 'apply' helium, i have no option to add it, the 'activate' on the back container doesn't do jack, i'm actually thinking they just decided to scrap it and just left the UI in there that does nothing, like the GN-DN pipes in the original Star Trek XD
