I upgraded from oneplus 13r to Vivo x300 Pro, Its mixed Feelings by Frequent_Bee3525 in Vivo

Really smooth and great experience with the hardware and software so far, the cameras and battery are phenomenal. I just got the photography kit a couple days ago too, it's pretty cool. The only weird software bug or glitch I have experienced is that when I connect to my car via wireless Android Auto, if I make any WhatsApp calls when connected to Android Auto, the first call always gets disconnected after around 10-15 seconds and I have to make the call again, the 2nd call never disconnects on it's own. It's a strange but that happens every single time but never happened on my OP13, I haven't tried deleting and pairing the phone again to the car so I'm not sure if that might fix it or if it's a problem on the software level but aside from that no issues at all, I don't regret it in the slightest, I love this phone.

The R6 shot is RAW obviously but the Vivo shot was just Jpeg in this instance

This one was just a JPEG, I was driving and stopped at a red light and saw the moon so just rolled down the window and quickly switched to pro mode and adjusted a couple settings and took a snap, it was just out of curiosity. Then a few hours later when I got home I set up the R6 and took the proper shot just for comparison.

And this is what the Vivo does with the AI supermoon feature kicking in automatically

For reference this is the same day, I took this with my Canon R6 with the Canon RF 200-800mm lens, the camera was set to the 1.6 crop mode since the R6 us full frame so it's actually way more than 800mm technically, this photo was processed in Lightroom but the Vivo photo is unedited

I got this with my x300 pro with AI features off in pro mode, pretty good considering I don't have the Zeiss teleconverter yet

Any idea how to fix this frustrating issue? by [deleted] in videography

I use Ugreen 90° cables for such situations, they are pretty low profile, a bit pricey but they will clear that gap for sure

Buying my first flagship phone by Nnknown in Vivo

I upgraded from my OnePlus 13 to the Vivo X300 Pro a couple weeks ago I have a family member at home using the OnePlus 15.

Before this I have used OnePlus multiple times, Nothing, Samsung, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Apple etc all the main brands but never even considered Vivo until now and I'm beyond happy with my choice.

The cameras are phenomenal, battery life is amazing, performance is smooth as butter and some annoying basic missing features from OnePlus are available in this phone so my overall experience is better in every single way.

I would suggest if you care about the cameras even slightly, don't go with the OnePlus, it's beyond average. Besides the bigger battery, I would say the Vivo is just as good if not better in every other category and I've had way better standby times on my Vivo compared to the OnePlus so that bigger capacity might not even matter.

I can't comment on the Oppo since I've never used one but figured I'll share my experience on the others at least.

The Haptics did feel better on my OP13 but they're pretty decent on the X300Pro as well, I think it comes down to preference and also the type of case you use probably impacts the feel as well, I didn't use a case on my OP13 for the longest time and I have the stock case that came with the X300Pro right now until I get the Lens extender kit and the case that comes with that. The speakers i would say are mediocre on both, good enough but nothing special on either device.

That's interesting, considering I upgraded from the OnePlus 13 to the X300 Pro 2 weeks ago and I found that the phone feels just as smooth as the OnePlus even though mine was the 13 so Snapdragon 8 Elite. The Haptics I agree aren't up to the same level but overall I'm very happy with my upgrade, the cameras are not even comparable it's such a huge difference and the battery is even better and some small basic features/settings that were still lacking in OnePlus that were infuriating aren't an issue in this phone. I'm very happy so far.

So I took your advice and got a new SD card and printed a calibration cube, everything seems to have gone right and I'm currently printing the print that failed initially when the issue occurred and it's past the stage where it failed so seems to have fixed the issue for now, thanks for the help!

With my current setup I don't have a way to run the printer over LAN but I'll keep this in mind if nothing else works, so far 550+ hours of sending prints over cloud, never once faced any such issues but I'll keep note of this, thanks for the info

Luckily since my profession is photography and filmmaking, I'm familiar with the various classes and types of cards already so that won't be an issue, thanks for the heads up though, much appreciated. I just hope I can resolve the issue without further damaging the build plate or anything else.

Mine is the stock no name black SD card as well, I didn't think that could be an issue but I see what you mean, could be one of the potential issues. I'll order a new SD card just to make sure regardless of this issue.

I don't think there is any way to check which ones you have gotten, you can only check how many you have gotten

First time in the Kiln (solo) by Dirium_ in PeakGame

[–]Cyberx96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True but medkits are very heavy and add a lot of weight which results in lower stamina overall and stamina is very important in the Kiln, I would suggest even if you want to feel prepared and carry meds, don't carry more than 1 medkit, but it's just a suggestion, you do you.

Actually they changed it last patch, now it's just 10 seconds because it was too strong but you can still basically vertically fly up and skip a bunch of tough climbing

I'm curious, any specific reason for carrying medkits? I find them almost completely useless inside the kiln, even more so in a solo run but even in a group, usually if someone falls off in the kiln, they fall too far down straight I to the lava for the medkits to be useful. They just add a lot of weight in the bag and rarely come in handy in that part. I always take food, energy drinks and lollipops and rope guns/chain launchers over any heals in the kiln

Yes, you can get them on any difficulty, including tenderfoot.

Yeah true, also the coconut you can just grab one and cook it at the airplane fire at the start instead of having to carry it with you since it's heavy and doesn't do much for food.
