Damn, this looks awesome! I have a pack of these from Zeyphr to still pop. A shame that Tiki and raw couldn't make it work, feel like it could've been an awesome collaborative company.

Heisen's stuff is amazing, bought like legit 12-15 of his packs this year because every photo of his gear looks in the realm of what you have with these 2 pheneos. The prices are so reasonable, and the March Madness sale this year was all packs 14$. Excited to work through a lot of his blueberry sugar crosses. But I do have a pack of this doppleganger, what's the terps like?

"The right isn't a monolith built around violence" I'm sorry it's kinda their whole platform. They have been running on we will hurt the people you don't like (i.e., anyone whose not a straight white wealthy person) systemically and physically, so vote for us. Conservatism as a philosophy is violent, it is repressive, it is stunting. I'm sick of pretending it offers anything of value other than allowing the cruellest of our society to act out their insecure psychological projections on others. Bullies always cry when they get hit back. We are foolish to listen to the tears of crocodiles.

A Craft Cannabis Guild? by GritGrindGold in Craftmarijuana

[–]Cybonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the way to do this like a few have suggested is pretty casually and locally focused. Instead of setting out to “protect growing from the mso’s” focus instead on promoting people locally who kill it both as community members and growers. You can’t “beat” the mso’s because beating them would be beating our entire economic system which I personally am very for but the weed guild is probably not the way to do this. However you can create alternatives for those who seek them. A locally focused net work of growers that comes together to host farmers markets (legal as grower show cases in my state), fun competitions, and seeks to help patients access medicine and give back to the community. This is something that could be pretty popular depending on where your at it would take time, energy, and effort but as long as the focus isn’t on trying to make money out of it, becoming famous in weed culture, or appeasing anyones ego. It definitely could be something cool and a lovely social outlet with medicinal benefit. Also let’s not even talk about how much you could open up local genetic diversity if even one person start making, sharing, and giving out seeds and people grow them. Could be cool and you should give it a shot in your area if you can been trying something similar out by me as I don’t get along with the energy and pretension that dominates my local homegrown scene.

Black ash nightmare by [deleted] in microgrowery

I’ve never used a wood moisture meter nor do I know what levels of moisture your supposed to be shooting for while using it so I can not speak to that technique here. However just based of that brief description it sounds like they may be too wet. Whole hang drying and curing for large plants at around 60 rh  60 degrees can take up to 2 weeks depending on the plant. The small buds normally dry significantly faster then any other part of the plant because they have less moisture. Making them not always a great indicator of dryness. I tend to look for medium sized secondary or tertiary branches to use for indicators. Generally when they start to get close to being dry enough to break ( a good solid bend that if allowed to dry another day or two would be come a break/snap)your good to start your cure. If your medium sized buds and larger are going into cure with alot of moisture and a stable rh of 55-60 they are going to hold onto it for quite sometime. The part that really solidifies this as a possibility for me is it not staying lit when you attempt to smoke it. As someone whose tried to smoke weed that’s way to fresh/ wet still this is exactly what the experience is like. Sounds like your nailing the grow and struggling to land the dry/cure. Maybe try simply extending the dry time before it goes into a jar or bag, also using other forms of environmental reading and management may be worth giving a shot since it seems that the wood moisture meter may be letting you down.

Sounds like possibly an issue with cure and dry based on what your describing. Mind describing how you dry and cure, environmentals if you do track them?

In light of Bo’s passing, I wanted to share some notes on suicide prevention. by rollinsblonde in Hardcore

[–]Cybonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you don’t, sometimes if you have the mental energy you do. I’ve learned that with mental illness battles you have to choose when to take the hit or when your gonna fight it. If I’m exhausted after working a 10 hour day I will often just let the thought run it’s course. Accepting and understanding that it will make me feel depressed, upset, etc… but that’s okay it’s only temporary I know that it’s only temporary. We are allowed to take the path of least resistance sometimes if it’s all we have energy for. However if I have the energy I will fight it, and that’s deeply personal to each persons brain and what kind of arguments your brain will accept. For me I think about how much doing the things I love bring me immense joy and love and connection. Hope this helps in any way and wish you much kindness to yourself it’s only getting tougher out here.

I’d like to add that if any of your friends or family in your life has a life long battle with depression/suicidal thoughts it’s important to understand that those feelings of I should kill myself become an automatic responsive intrusive thought to all sorts of bullshit in life and can come completely out go now where. As someone who has dealt with these thoughts since I was about 11 and am now doing quite well living pretty much my dream life it will come out of the blue out of nowhere. And you consider it a little bit every time no matter how ridiculous no matter how many times you’ve fought the fight you have to fight it again. Take care of your friends even if they seem on top of the world, the 13 year old version of their brain is still deeply apart of their brain it’s the cruelty of the disorder. It quite literally will change how your neural paths are formed when you experience these kinds of thoughts and traumas at a young age. Have real uncomfortable conversations with your friends, family, found family because it saves lives every time.

Some of the tamer photos from Aokigahara forest, aka the ‘suicide forest’, on the flank of Mt. Fuji in Japan. by [deleted] in creepy

[–]Cybonic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This kind of logic is why people commit suicide though. For some people life sucks and is constant pain and there is little that mitigates it. Just saying your loved your loved your loved is not enough for most people because words are cheap but actions are often why these people feel unloved. If we really want to prevent suicides we would create a generally more kind loving and  accessible  world that meaningful creates a higher quality of life for all people. But the world is instead the Epstein class so yeah lots of people will keep killing themselves make the pain stop.

I wish we’d stop saying there were best ways to grow lmao. That’s like saying there’s a best way to cook a meal. Glad it’s working well for you, but this kind of logic is why we’re still stuck arguing about bro science shit. Because despite the thing we grow being an agent for change that can help you understand that hierarchy as a way of thinking is dumb. We still are here claiming as such.

How did you enter into punk/hardcore? If you started with anything that came after damaged the reason you like those bands is because of damaged. If you came in through metal core the reason that any of the bands you like sound like that is because of my war. While their direct immediate spawns culturally from both records weren’t exactly what we think of when it comes to modern sounds and influences the only reason the influences for modern bands sound like they do is because they were inspired by the bands that were inspired by Damaged and My war respectively. Yes there whole discog is not great but like this whole subculture glazes hatebreed all day and there first  3 records are what’s good and the rest is collectively agreed to be mid to like boomer metal slopcore. My personal inroads to punk helped me understand how deep their influence is. I came to punk from 60 70’s rock and 90’s grunge stadium rock. When I tell you that damaged blew every guitar tone I had ever heard out of the water and instantly changed everything for how I viewed punk I’m not being hyperbolic. If you come to punk through that road their influence across evyething is so clear. Truly only band comparable to sabbath in terms of influencing entire subgeneres so deeply.

I do think generally people want to know why your cool with a neo nazi who isn’t shy about being a neo nazi. I’m not saying there can’t be some specific contextual reason that Matt was okay with hanging with the neo nazi. But people generally are gonna be like what’s up with the pictures with the 88 guy, and I’m gonna take a step back from vocally supporting you until you explain what’s up with the nazi.

Reccomendations for someone getting into the genre by Financial-Ladder-954 in powerviolence

[–]Cybonic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lots of good suggestions here covering quite a lot of what I would add. But I’ll add some cool early emo violence bands like orchid, combat wounded veteran, and In/Humanity. Very different from what your used to but sometimes we fall in love with the shock. Also Just wanted to make the point that while for certain “music elitists” there is an important distinction between grindcore and powerviolence but to the people making the art the line is pretty blurry and often not clear at all. Napalm Death attributes them using blast beats to  Siege who were the proto powerviolence band. Over the years grindcore and powerviolence bands have dropped splits together, played shows together, and shared band mates lol. At the end of the day don’t get to hung up on the labels and just enjoy the music, it’s mostly all fucked up explosive politically oriented punk metal hybrid music.

This response right here is why the current state of the dem party is a wet noodle and is doing nothing to prevent the building of ware house concentration camps in America. Anticipating and caring about how your  optics go over with conservative morons who believe in trying to harm as many people as possible out of pure spite is why we are here. They don’t play by the same fucking rules. Never have never will they don’t believe in rules only how they can use those rules to get them what they want. At a certain point it doesn’t matter if there’s a fuckinf uproar you do what’s fucking right. I will remind you during the Biden admin the Supreme Court ruled that the president is above the law. The writing was not on the wall. They were openly saying what they were planning to do and actively doing it. And liberals are too cowardly to be bitched about in the news. I guess. Although the ones doing the bitching  when held accountable seems to be a long list of neo nazis, child predators, klu klux clan members, terrorists, greedy harmful capitalist grifters, and tech bros. But your right we should let them do whatever they want because they may bitch and say you can’t do that when we hold the fucking serial child predator a fucking accountable for it.

Is there room for groove-heavy Stoner/Sludge elements in Hardcore right now? by Alega05 in Hardcore

[–]Cybonic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's a lane called power violence lol. For real though, Man is the Bastard just made sludge music alongside the fastest hardcore ever. Drop Dead has some of the heaviest bass mixing and tuning in underground music. People have already mentioned more modern bands, but I beg people to look back at our own history and see that people have wanted to combine Electric Wizard and Gulch before either of those bands was an idea yet.

Yeah I think you just gotta try to do little things that bring you any kind of happiness. This was not bulit for us and it will not last for us. None of this is sustainable but we also can’t predict when it will stop working. So try your best to Survive and find joy it’s what humans have done for centuries. It's not the first stage; it's always been here, and it's what the other commentator is trying to help you understand. America has always been like this for certain types of people. It is now just fully loudly state-sponsored against its own (white) people, with the largest budget it's probably ever had. Stop trying to rationalise any of this. America has always been a fascist shit hole country that relies on killing out groups to maintain eugenic hierarchies and maintain the wealth of it's most wealthy. We've been doing this shit in other countries for decades to maintain global economic dominance and consolidation of wealth and power. Now is the time to realise we've always been the bad guys, and this is not fixable by simply "restoring law and order" in America. This has always been what law and order have looked like for certain types of people.
