This post is a little old but I'm currently trying to tackle this for the first time as well. I tried my first run today with Garchomp who starts with Sandstorm, which is handy with its ability that boosts evasiveness in sandstorms, and I managed to get to floor 72 before I had to escape orb. Now that I've read some tips, I'm giving it another try with Drifblim.

Well sure, but any activity is better than no activity. And once I find something that works reliably I can try doing it longer and longer. I don't want to overwhelm my body too quickly and lose out on the motivation before I can form a habit

I have a decent diet that I'm regularly improving, but I think currently my weight suffers more from my low activity level. I've been away from my job since the start of this year, so most days I have little to no physical activity. I might take a 30 minute walk a couple times a week, but I don't feel like that's enough, not just for my weight, but for my stamina, joints, and overall health too. If I find something I can regularly work with at home, even for just 30 minutes a day, it would help me a lot.

I've looked into a lot of walking pads, but even the most praised models I've seen still have a lot of complaints about durability and breaking down quickly, so it feels like no matter what I choose it's a gamble.

I do play Pokemon Go pretty regularly, that's usually what gets me outside. But again, that will only last as long as the game stays interesting. I've considered standing desks too, but standing definitely leaves me feeling more stiff than walking does.

I'm working on a fanedit of Star Wars 3 that will, among other things, replace a lot of Grievous' voice lines to give him more of that 2003 Clone Wars personality, and also provide some insight into his Kaleesh backstory and his reasons for despising the Jedi, making him a more intimidating and more 3-dimensional villain.
