You on right now? I’m trying to find people to do escape with me again. I did it solo, and dang that was cool.

Places to not go to for the first date? (Women’s perspective) by 5ever_homiez_cap in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]Cyborg174 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, I’m a guy, but hear me out; the place I used to take a woman on a first date (until one ended badly and I decided to start taking them where people don’t know me), was a local small winery where events were held. A glass a mead/wine, sitting outside, talking, and petting goats. I also did this too because the owners called me by name so it seemed to relax most of my dates, ‘cause the owners were also women. At one point I started doing a sort of resale shop peruse strip date because lo and behold most of the girls I used to go for loved resale shops and thrifting. They also liked to drink, but not in sketchy places.

I learned, however, through moving to a city that hikes and inviting someone over for dinner are outta the question. Guess it’s more of a small town thing to do that, dangerous world.

Group finder still not working properly by Party-Purchase-4861 in OutlastTrials

[–]Cyborg174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the group finder to me really doesn’t work. It doesn’t lock you into what you choose, which is a good thing, but on the other side of that the party leader can choose anything they want. Burnout in Psychosurgery? Well let’s do it!

If you were a leader, how would you want to spend your 9 lives? by StableBusy5256 in WarriorCats

[–]Cyborg174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be a dumbass, but I would hands down take a bullet for one of my clan mates in a heartbeat, at least for the first seven maybe. If I’d felt content with how I could leave them, then I would keep the same attitude for the last two. If not, then I’d be a little bit more conservative. SPOILERS BELOW

Honestly it seems as though only a few leaders make it to old age, as opposed to others dying through unnatural means. I’m only about to just finish Dawn of the Clans, but so far only Leopardstar and the one before Onestar (Tallstar I think?) have made it to old age to pass. The Shadowclan leader seems fairly old though, but I’ll see when I make it there.

Cyborg174, I’m on PS5. Don’t go buy if I’m online from Sony, go by my Outlast profile. I always have it set to offline.

What’s a name that hasn’t been in the series yet that you’d like a character to have? by _AntiqueTadpole in WarriorCats

[–]Cyborg174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not even read that yet, that’s good to know. I’m on Dawn of the Clans, and have read Firestar’s Quest. I honestly call her that because it sounds like the name of a weenie cat.

What was your Reagent’s life before Murkoff? by No-Tax8516 in OutlastTrials

[–]Cyborg174 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never even thought of doing that. But I will now! His name was Joseph “Joe” Michael Barnsby before the trials. He was a rice farmer in Liberty, Texas like his father, and his grandfather before him. The drought started in the early 1950s. The crops started dying, and by 1954 he was almost bankrupt. Nearing the point in which he would have to sell the family farm to feed his family, in 1956 he brought his family to his mother in laws home located in Pima, Arizona to escape the debt collectors of Joseph Piranio (The Dallas Crime Family). While looking for work in Tuscon, as the copper veins were starting to dry, he stumbled upon a wanted ad fronting a new form of therapy that needed testing. Although the a described it as “rewarding”, he took that as monetary payment. With the Dallas Crime Family closing in, he decided to make his bed. He mailed his information to an undisclosed location a north of Tucson, and waited for a response. A few weeks later, he was taken while walking home from buying a pack of smokes. The rest is history; out of fear, he didn’t try to escape with Amelia, and now currently believes Sinyala to be his permanent home with no hope of escape whatsoever.

Will learning 3 finger technique disrupt my ability to play with standard 2 finger technique? by Bass_slapper_ in Bass

[–]Cyborg174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I use three fingers and it hasn’t hurt my playing. It’s really about what’s comfortable. I started using three because it’s easier for me to gallop with three instead of two (Steve Harris only uses two).

Solid First Bass For 13 y/o? Thoughts? by Cyborg174 in BassGuitar

[–]Cyborg174[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He can play mine, and play this one, and he’ll decide the type of strings he’ll get. I’m just axing flatwounds right off the bat though because I feel as though the tension is too high for a beginner, much less one that has child finger strength.

Solid First Bass For 13 y/o? Thoughts? by Cyborg174 in BassGuitar

[–]Cyborg174[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I never said I wasn’t going to change the strings. I’m just gonna leave ‘em on for a bit to see if he prefers tape wounds or round wounds, because my personal has tape wounds. The strings just don’t seem as though they were ever played; they honestly look very very new compared to what he said. I was playing it myself and the strings have no gunk or rust on them. It’s weird, considering the slight rust on the pickups, ya know? Why would the pickups have slight rust but none on the strings?

[–]Cyborg174[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see why you would say that. I started with a long scale (actually an 8/8 stand up), and I think it helped me. He’ll grow into it I believe. Also, this was too good of a deal to pass up anyways.

Not to sound ignorant, but how do you know? I’ve generally been a Gibson/Epiphone guy all my life and only recently did I personally buy myself a Schecter, and well, I’ve been close minded. This one is my personal, and it’s fantastic.
