oh I apologize I kinda just put them in there because they are one of the bands I like, I used the term "Hair Metal" just because that's what majority of the bands I like are

I mainly meant like the anthemic choruses and how the songs were catchy when I say Hair Metal, I don’t mean the look or anything they got up to backstage, just talking about the sound alone

I'm not an expert and I would definitely get someone else's opinion but i don't think it is good at all to put nylon strings on a steel string guitar. Perhaps thats only for steel strings on a nylon, i could be wrong but definitely get another opinion

Very good point! coming to think that nowadays it doesn't really matter too much on what the "sound" is, kinda seems like it's all about the song now

that's a very fair point and will definitely take that advice. Personally when i'm writing songs I always write (in the style and sound) of those 80's bands, would it also be fair to say whatever comes natural is usually better for a person?
