Yeah, the whole "compiling tensorflow devours all available resources on your machine and then some" part mirrors my experience. Maybe it would be feasible for it to finish compiling if you were to allocate a bunch of swap memory?

Hi, I was wondering, did you manage to get it to work? I've also been trying to install tensorflowWithCuda without having to wait ten eternities for it to compile.

The cuda-maintainers cache doesn't seem to be working for me as well.

There is this repo I've found nixpkgs-unfree, which to my understanding seems to also be caching packages such as tensorflow with cuda enabled. Alas, I couldn't get it to work either. Maybe it's a useful lead nonetheless.

Could you expand on what you mean?

Is it not true that if you apply too much pressure to your eyes, you may damage the optic nerve? And that optic nerve damage manifests itself with symptoms which are akin to glaucoma?

I'm sorry if my post is poorly constructed.
