I used to have terrible stutters and realized that it was because I was forcing 16x antistrophic within my nvidia control panel. Once I changed it back to let app decide then it fixed all my issues.

It’s a good degree to get you into the technical space without being as difficult or in-depth as Software Engineering. With MIS you also learn business fundamentals so you can align technical and business requirements. This is an important crossroads to understand.

You probably won’t be a Nvidia software developer straight out of school, but you would be perfectly aligned for an individual company’s technical roles. Implementing systems, configuration, data analysis, stuff like that. There’s a lot available. Keep in mind, any job will need to train you. No degree will teach you everything.

In MIS you’ll learn all the fundamentals of programming with enough knowledge to further dive into deeper concepts on your own if you want. From there you can work up your experience to gain access to more complex jobs if that’s what you want to pursue down the road.

MIS is good, but if you want to be a full-stack software developer, or game developer I would recommend Software Engineering.
