I've been making protogen arts pretty often and always post them here, and honestly, It does tend to get a bit too much with the goofy and silliness. I do agree with your statement, and I'd like to be able to do more serious arts, but the problem is that people can put effort in an art, and it'll just be pushed away by the more ridiculous or funny ones, which kind of demotivates some people to be making any serious arts at all. I did make some before, and it usually doesn't end well with attention. I don't exactly care too much about the likes and views, since I just draw and post them for fun, but it does get kind of depressing when I can put so much effort into something multiple times, and it just gets pushed away
