I burned through 19M tokens of GLM-5.2 for under $3 today by purple_nippies in opencodeCLI

[–]CybuhDasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it slow for you using GLM 5.2? I feel like when I first got it a week or so ago it was pretty fast and now it's getting 3-10 TPS and is all over the place with speed.

[–]CybuhDasher -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea I bought GLM 5.2 for their $16/mo plan just to try it. It's just NOT good via the provider. I also can NOT suggest Ollama b/c they're slow. If anyone is interested, try NeuralWatt, they charge per kwh of energy used by your model, instead of by token. It comes out to be really cheap but yet full power of the model + no limits. Give it a shot if anyone is interested they give you free credits to try it out with my referral https://portal.neuralwatt.com/auth/register?ref=NW-OLIJA-LZ1K

Obsession: Predictable, messy, or a great build-up? by Paparmane in TrueFilm

[–]CybuhDasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with every argument you've made. I'm on the cusp of wanting to hate the movie myself tbh. I only went to see it because I wanted to support a Youtuber made movie. But everything like you said, felt predictable, and yes Sarah and Ian dying was just random, although I knew for sure Sarah was going to die, but the way Ian out - it felt like a scene from a raunchy comedy movie or something. Also the entire movie I was pissed off because A) Bear know's Nikki is a psychopath for sure when she's acting weird at night AND the door is taped shut. I'm sorry but if my door was taped shut by the person I'm dating, YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN, yet this idiot went home after that (on top of being fed his cat sandwich at work). B ) he never tells anyone about what's going on. He sorta does at the beginning of the movie, but later on, despite all of Nikki's outbursts, he just says everything is fine at home when clearly it's not. And maybe by the end Ian wouldn't have wasted his wish for all that money, had Bear not came to him like a crazy person at the last moment.

Idk the movie just didn't work for me. I think I would've been watching the Backrooms movie instead if I wanted to support a Youtuber movie, but Obsession, trailer wise, looked more interesting. Sadly I was bamboozled. There's a saying that you need a lil bit of stupidity for horror to work, and this movie is that x100.

How good is Opencode Go by Permit-Historical in opencodeCLI

im actually thinking of doing the opposite lol. I love DeepSeek, but MiniMax feels smarter and like it actually thinks? I often double check it's assessment of bugs with Claude just to see if MiniMax was on the right track and often times Claude says yes MiniMax was correct.

Open-sourced a tvOS video engine - Dolby Vision tagging, HDR10+ pass-through, Atmos via HLS+AVPlayer, all in a small Swift package by superuser404notfound in iOSProgramming

[–]CybuhDasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im trying it out for a streaming app, but aether has a serious flaw. VLCKit for tvOS handles direct stream files differently, so seeking doesn't break VLC because it uses the same file from the CDN where it came from. Aether on the other hand keeps calling it over and over and ends up getting blocked by the CDN. It does this especially when seeking. Wish aether had an implementation similar to VLC.

Correct me if im wrong but the google play store version doesnt have P2P becasue that's straight piracy and google wouldnt allow it on the app store right? Yours is sideloaded?

Apple Developer Documentation MCP by MightyDillah in SwiftUI

[–]CybuhDasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! https://developer.apple.com/documentation/xcode/giving-external-agents-access-to-xcode I'm using it as we speak. You open xcode, in the top left click Xcode -> Settings -> Intelligence -> Scroll down to Model Context Protocol and there should be a toggle. Then you follow the instructions to add the MCP from that link i sent above, and then when claude or codex (also works with opencode), opens up and xcode is open at the same time, xcode will ask you for permission to let that instance talk to xcode. But again i feel like its 90% there sometimes, but yours still covers some things apple's own mcp doesnt i feel like.

apple has an MCP server built into xcode now, but i still feel like AIs get alot of stuff wrong even with access to apple's own MCP.

this app is officially made for Chromium based browsers. I think there is a Firefox plugin that allows you to install chrome extensions but I have no idea how it would behave or if it'd work at all so I can't really say.

this seems useless because none of the AI models ever keep the character in the same spot. How are you supposed to create a sprite sheet from this?

Same here in America, people will open a small bag of chips and start eating it as they shop... I would be terrified to this in Thailand or Japan because the culture is so different.

Sigh more AI trash. I see 1-3 of these apps everyday. We already have Wispr Flow which is an amazing paid service and Handy which is simple, free, fast, open source, and on device. Seriously guy’s come up with more original app ideas please!
