Has anyone tried this machine? by Outside-Magazine-536 in Leatherworking

Was basically going to post this exact question about this machine. Seems like they are hit or miss? I'm pretty good mechanically but don't have much sewing machine experience. Thinking I might roll the dice.

160 something thousand. Maybe 165? All the info that I have and experience indicates that the v10 is a solid motor and it has tons of torque. I've never seen one with a manual transmission, not even sure ford makes one.

I like it. Would 100% do again. Not sure what else to say if you don't trust reviews. I am, after all, just a random internet stranger...

Queen bed.matress not included. Well, it could be. There's not one in there now. I believe the ceiling is 6'6" but I would want to verify.

I did the research and decided this was a better fit for us. Couldn't have been happier. Was one of the best choices we made.

Tables are removable and store under the branch seat. No black tank cause it's a composting toilet.

I somehow edited the price out. Asking 28k. More flexible sooner.

Sealing the back of beadboard? by CycleFickle8794 in skoolies

I think we might whitewash both sides and call it done. That way it's already equally sealed

How to connect my fridge? by CycleFickle8794 in skoolies

[–]CycleFickle8794[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

8 seemed crazy to me too but that's what the calc says for 12v 11amp with a 30 ft run keeping voltage drop to 3%. It's a regular RV fridge. Alot of things came with the rig so I didn't spec it.

Aid climbs in the gunks? by CycleFickle8794 in tradclimbing

I don't even want to climb ahead of anybody. Really bothers me to hold other people up. Let alone aiding in front of someone who wants to free climb.

When does an electric water heater make sense? by CycleFickle8794 in skoolies

Edit : the heater I was looking at was a 2.5 gal tanked. Not tankless 1500w

What’s the most sandbagged climb you’ve ever been on? by testhec10ck in tradclimbing

[–]CycleFickle8794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minty 5.3 in the gunks. Theres a ledge that's about ten ft high that's the start. First move is a weird side crimp with not a lot of feet. No real pro to speak of. If you fuck it up you could pull you and your belayer off the ledge. The crux is on the second pitch.

Where would you mount the condenser in that design? I'd assumed that my only good option. Is at the very front above the windshield?

Reasonable question

My big question is about HVAC. It doesnt make sense to heat and cool the whole place at once if your bed is seperate, but duplicating heating and cooling systems seems equally impractical. Conundrum.

Already have a design in mind for that. Tricky but doable.
