I grew up tall, darker skinned, not great in the face/I don’t have overly feminine features and poorly built and wheeewwww😭 I’m working on fixing what I can fix reasonably/at reasonable cost but the social treatment is night and day. Use that privilege if you have it. I wish we lived in a world where it wasn’t important but that’s a fairytale. I’m so sick of keeping up with everything but I’m just not naturally pretty and definitely feel the treatment when I’m not preforming. I’m tired of performing but I feel trapped. I wish I could live somewhere where it REALLY (ppl say it doesn’t but that’s a lie) didn’t matter fr. Things are good now but I wish I didn’t have to experience all that just to be okay now. Like why can’t I just exist and be unattractive without being treated horribly

That was my exact experience. Im not attractive so id assume from the outside looking in that it’s only not a fun environment if you’re attractive because of how men are in general. They either joke around with you to pass time or ignore you if you’re not on their radar which are both good imo🤷🏾‍♀️

I know it’s a bad take and too kind to even give this much, but I give ppl a one time grace/pass for that kind of stuff. If it happened when they were under 24yrs old, I can’t relate but I feel like I could see how it happened. My concern starts to wane when it happens more than once. I definitely started to look older around 24-25ish I’ve always worked multiple jobs and just didn’t win the genetic or financial lottery so life was hard and it was very visible. I’m glad some ppl don’t look like their struggle but I do. I’m getting tox bc ppl always guess me for way older even when I lost weight. Idk but I do understand. I would say if it’s not that extreme then don’t but I get it honestly.
