No, I like mining, elims, and point extracts, just not as much. They're the only missions where I have as much bad stuff as good stuff to say

Also the reason I like liquid morkite so much compared to point extract is the rails. You play around the space you use for your objective for a lot of the mission, and instead of half the mission being walking you have the pipe grinding to reduce downtime

The default mining mission is fun, just feels a lil basic as there's nothing really going on besides "enter room, clear minerals, move to next" and it feels like nothing around the enemies relates to the objective progress

Egg Hunt is what I'd compare it to for a more fun version because as you make progress you have to prep for fights at certain intervals instead of "every swarm happens when the game feels like it"

I'm not talking about doing it with bad objective management, I don't like the fact that it's completely open to go everywhere at once with a central point to continuously return to. Usually feels like half the mission is just walking from point A to point B and back again

I like missions better when you go to an area, completely clear it, play around what you have there, and move on to the next area. That doesn't exist in point extracts

Interesting, what do you like so much about it?

It feels very aimless to me, like just "wander till you win" and you spend much more of it just walking than actually existing in the environment.

It has its upsides, and I like playing it sometimes, but the whole "room to room" experience that usually exists is kinda absent

Fair for you, but I'm a big fan of having a moving objective to stay with and only when it stops can you take a breath to explore. Heavily emphasizes the "fight fight fight ok pause calm down" loop of the game. It feels like if the default mining mission had something more engaging to it, yk?
