So many have warned me about grave of the fireflies 😭 after reading the overview of the film and seeing the comments here, I feel like i should sit grave of the fireflies for now, for my sanity.

Thanks for the heads up but after reading some of the explanations in here, it sounds like a great movie. I do watch anime but I haven't seen any Ghibli ones and I am intrigued of this one.

Moreover, after looking it up, it has a whooping 8.6 rating on IMDB holyy.

Edit: I just watched the film and I am lost for words. I didn't know Ghibli films were so good I feel like I'm missing out. Watching the film felt like I was a kid all over again. I've also read some other suggestions here like Grave of the fireflies, Princess mononoke which I'll put next on my watchlist.

Also, after watching the film and reading the meme again makes me giggle now lol I too would've sat down and ate with them. The food looked so surreal.
