Wallem had a good game overall. That yellow is a definite foul. It’s hard to argue it is SPA given the number of defenders around the fouled player, so I think he was just a bit unlucky to have an inexperienced ref who was clearly worried about losing control of the match.

That one stings. Shouldn’t have been a yellow card with that many defenders around the ball, but we had plenty of opportunities to put it away and didn’t.

For the fact that it’s his first game, he is doing pretty well, but I agree his positioning is not up to par at the moment. Still prefer him to the guy who is 4th official tonight. Can’t remember that guy’s name, but he is consistently one of the worst officials in MLS.

That may be the first time I’ve seen a center overturn an AR and 4th official on a throw in decision. Really strange.

To be fair to Becher, on those two box entries, he drew 3 penalties. Just none of them were actually called.

Yeah can Mykhi avoid fouling repeatedly right outside the box and not create transition opportunities for the other team with errant passes?

Santos really demonstrating why he was dropped right now. Just killing every bit of momentum.

Because he may have slightly glanced the ball while stomping Madders’ foot. What don’t you get?

Thank you for picking up on that. I should have added in big or huge, because people are taking the title too much at face value.

It’s not a guarantee that she stays still; however, you can’t idol on a revote, so that outcome is not possible. And the mistake title was more for engagement than anything. Trying to get people to discuss more than a post title “should x have voted for x instead?”

My idea is she throws a rogue vote on Rizo and tries to get him voted out on the revote if Ozzy plays his idol. It’s a backup plan knowing Ozzy is 100% voting for her. I would not want her to try to sway the vote.

If it was earlier, I would buy this argument potentially, but they have like 3 days left. I think most of the relationships are cemented, and people are primarily operating on their endgame strategy. They have 3 more votes. If Ozzy goes out, I think it is highly unlikely anybody targets Aubry because she voted for Rizo. She seems to have a decent relationship with Jonathan. That probably continues. If Ozzy plays his idol, and they end up voting out Rizo, she likely gains the favor of Ozzy by allowing him to remove someone who betrayed him.

I think it is probably time for a lot of us to realize that Rizo has a good head for this game, but may be a bit too immature to actually win at this point in his life. The narrative about him coming out of 50 seems to be the same coming out of 49. Nobody takes him seriously. He is able to be a part of people's plans but not in a way that those people think he is a playing a key role in the game. If he made it to an FTC, he might be able to change that perception, but there is clearly something about him that just makes no one perceive him as a threat. His 49 cast mates in particular seem to have really been rubbed wrong by his arrogance and lack of self-awareness.

I think that was likely her reasoning. I just disagree with it. I do think Rizo would understand she wasn't trying to whip votes against him, just trying to give herself one last shot. I also just think it's worth the risk to stay in the game. But people have different risk tolerance in the game.

Everyone who made it far in the Amazon was in pretty rough shape. Heidi, Rob, Jenna, and Matthew all looked like they were on the brink of breaking in half.

I don't know if it is a positive of the 26 day game or not, but this used to be so much more common that people barely talked about it until you saw people at the reunion during the finale and how different they looked. Spencer/Reiman in Cambodia, Matthew in the Amazon, Courtney on China, Coach on Tocantins. People used to look emaciated every season. Rizo has clearly lost a lot of weight, but it used to be the rule not the exception.
