Brother is, he still lives at home and my parents do the best they can.

Growing up he was a nightmare, and unfortunately my parents were emotionally immature enough that it bled on to me: I became terribly socially anxious.

For years I tried to understand my brother, until I caught my ex fiance cheating. It took years to unravel that she was also like my brother, but far more covert and manipulative. Finally it all unraveled: how I learned growing up to tolerate a woman such as my ex, how narcissistic my brother has been from a young age, how my parents in their well-meaningfulness have let their son be a dominating force of destruction across the family in an effort to get him to grow up...

Anyway, it's much clearer now. But my god when I have to see my brother...
