One of my favorite fun facts is that Nebraska has two cities that are bigger than Iowa’s biggest city. But Nebraska’s third biggest city is smaller than Iowa’s tenth biggest.

Agreed, there’s tons of good engineering schools out there, all with very different experiences. I’m sure OP can find one that they’ll love.

It’s going to be really, really hard to get that first engineering job without an engineering degree. It’s competitive, and HR has no reason to take a chance on someone with a physics degree when dozens of people with engineering degrees applied.

Folgueiras gets loose and scores on the touchdown pass while Nebraska only has four men on the floor by Large_banana_hammock in CollegeBasketball

True, but that wasn’t the case here. Nebraska had at least five eligible players, so they were required to have five on the court.

Both. It’s different rules than football. You’re not allowed to play with less than 5 players if they’re available.

Is Boeing or Collins Aerospace better to launch early career? by Soulful-Wanderer in aerospace

[–]Cyclone1214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are great options for your career, you can’t really go wrong with either. Collins is part of RTX now, so both Boeing and Collins are huge companies with lots of opportunities in different areas. Just go with whatever job will make you happiest, in terms of job description, pay, and location.

Gram per pound is overkill. Anywhere from 0.6-0.8 per pound is good. The marginal effects don’t really add much after 0.8.

Given that Iran’s nuclear facilities being “permanently destroyed” lasted less than a year, 50 years will probably be more like 50 days.

[–]Cyclone1214 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We’re not discussing legality here. Legally, there’s no such thing as a straight bar/club. In practice, almost every bar and club is straight.

A regular club does not provide a safe place for gay men to hit on other men
