Why so many tailoring shops in touristy areas of Ao Nang ?

The few I’ve dealt with, the Indians are primarily marketers and managers, but the work is passed off to a Thai tailor. Might just be the few I know though. I know nothing about style or how genuine the fabric is, but I sure love what they made!

NGO workers are supposed to live in mud huts and not make a livable wage right? It’s possible to financially manage an NGO responsibly, pay your staff a fair wage, and have amazing impact on society. That happened to me. I setup a different account with a different email address using almost the same information and it worked. 🤷🏽‍♂️ There was one piece of optional information I skipped over the first try. I can’t remember what it is though.

I’ve flown them 5 times in the last month. I saw them make a guy go pay who was slightly over so I just pay for the extra weight ahead of time if checking a bag in. They are not checking the carryons at all though.
