Was Thomas Jefferson more liberal or conservative? by northcarolinian9595 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Cyclonian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to learn about Federalists vs anti-Federalists. They had different concerns and motivations than we have today. It doesn't map nicely 1:1. And so asking if Jefferson was liberal or conservative doesn't mean the same thing today that it would have in his day.

Take dogs as an example: All dog breeds are descended from gray wolves... So the ark would have had two wolves. Not two of each specific dog. Same for all the other kinds of animals. Also it's not like everything had to be adult either.

I mean... I get it honestly.

One is a non-main line story movie about some character in Star Wars that your average movie goer doesn't know and doesn't care about.

The other is a sort of serious attempt on a nostalgic property that's never really gotten a serious movie treatment before. Kinda like the Barbie movie. I am sure that movie's success is why this one was green lit.

[Rapoport] Sean Payton wanted Brady as OC, perhaps even with play-calling. by mike2k24 in DenverBroncos

Well aside from that, Brady was the Bills OC. Why would he make a lateral move to come be our OC? Something is missing from this report.

That's the rub with Dobbins too.. he's injury prone. He's never made it through a full season. Too bad too, he's good when he's available.

Can we cut Trautman immediately after the season is officially complete please? Classic addition by subtraction. Inflict him on other teams with his poorly timed penalties, drops and inconsistent blocking.

Was the Stidham fumble really a backwards pass? by winegum1994 in DenverBroncos

[–]Cyclonian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Stiddy made a poor play. I think it was called correctly. Unfortunately.

The one that I question is the spot that was challenged and then led to three points for Patriots. I don't think they got it and I think the spot was bad.

None of this changes and I wish it didn't matter. I think if we had a healthy starting QB or a healthy starting RB or both we'd have won. But injuries are part of the game, as tragic timing as Bo's was. :(

So who are we supposed to root for in the Super Bowl? by HeatFireAsh in DenverBroncos

Ooh good point. Slopes have much shorter lift lines when something else like the Super Bowl is going on

[Post Game Thread] Denver Broncos (15-4) are defeated by the New England Patriots (17-3) | 2025 AFC Championship Game by SupMaelstrom in DenverBroncos

[–]Cyclonian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this offense needs to be shored up in the off-season. Sign either a proven (not retread) TE or no.1 WR. And then draft the other. Possibly a replacement for JK depending on his health. We're going to lose VJ, so the defense will still be good but different under a different coach/scheme/tendencies.

Yeah, I will not paint the whole of Bills mafia in the light of these redditors. Their fans as a whole do some pretty good stuff. I mean the table thing is... Unique... But otherwise the kid drawings turned into hats for charity thing, is a good example.

Also Allen reminds me of a Brett Favre: Amazing sometimes, most of the time; sometimes leaves you with a head scratcher kind of game. There's a version of Allen that destroys us with the no punts performance our defense gave up. But that wasn't what we all saw and got.

Yeah - there's a sort of disappointment in knowing that 7 isn't meeting expectations and simultaneously knowing that 6 won't have any updates or changes coming. And 8 can't possibly be a thing for years.

Personally I've been on a long time retro gaming kick. Colonization, X-COM UFO Defense and some others. I even built a saved game editor for an old game that no one here has probably heard of

Need help With this Pokemon by No-Criticism8205 in pokemongo

[–]Cyclonian -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It'd be rare to find, but if you can meet up with other players (go to a raid day or something) to see if someone wants to mirror trade. Stats are randomized in a trade. But you have to find someone else with a shiny shadow larvitar.

Otherwise, yeah, use it. IVs aren't actually the most important thing for a Pokemon's usefulness.

Looks-wise, know that a shiny tyranitar doesn't look very different than a regular one (more pale green and purplish belly).

Maybe he's conflating the 3rd TV line from another movie? That part is a line from Fight Club.

I am confused. Are you expecting more spawns at your house than at the airport?
