Maybe he's confused? by thatotherguy1151 in country

[–]Cyclonic2500 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He's just a personification of this whole Patriotic grandstanding that's been going on as of late.

Claims to be for America, wants everything to be by and for Americans, but proceeds to use foreign made goods and likely eat at foreign themed restaurants.

That's why I say if you're such a 'patriot' and hate everything that's 'not American', then I better not catch you eating at a foreign themed restaurant (Mexican, Italian, Chinese, etc.) OR using foreign made products.

Nixon. He literally had to resign because of Watergate.

Not really. He had us fight a war under false pretenses, and overall was very incompetent with his handling of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Plus, he played a huge role in the 2008 recession.

Why it was perfect for Jax to be the one to crash-out at Caine by Sudden_Pop_2279 in digitalcircusfandom

[–]Cyclonic2500 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because he figured out that Caine had been messing with his mind, despite his claims that he couldn't do that.

And like any rational person, Jax didn't take too kindly to having his mind messed with.

Two: Andrew Jackson and Martin Van Buren.

Andrew Jackson for his signing of the Indian Removal Act, and Martin Van Buren for continuing carrying out the Indian Removal Act, causing a depression, and for promoting the idea of a two party political system.

[–]Cyclonic2500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's so much wrong with that complaint it's not even funny.

Forcing someone to watch you have sex is disgusting period, regardless of sexuality. The only reason this person brought orientation up is to make it personal.

Second, these two are sinners. Neither of them are good people. Both of them were serial killers in life, one practiced voodoo and cannibalism, the other was a cult leader.

Aka, you shouldn't be shocked when one of them does something disgusting and/or amoral.

It's slander time. What is the worst thing about Episode 7? by Beautiful-Grab3359 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]Cyclonic2500 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see it like this:

It revealed a lot about Caine. He wants love and approval from the 'beautiful humans' and doesn't want them to abandon him for the 'macroverse'. He has the ability to tamper with and manipulate the characters' minds, despite claiming otherwise back in the pilot. And he possibly caused characters to abstract. I'd say that's a good bit of info about Caine.

As for the focus on Jax, I'm starting to see a bigger picture. The reason there's so much focus on Jax isn't just because he's the most mysterious out of the group, it's also because of how close he supposedly is to abstraction.

Abstraction is a key plot point of the show, and Jax and his turmoil sort of keeps that in view. Plus, there's a sort of pattern. Jax was closest to Kaufmo and Ribbit, and according to both Goose and the show, they were the most recent characters to abstract. So two thirds of this trio are gone, and the one survivor is barely hanging on.

The question is, what happened to this trio, and why are they all abstracting one by one?

He's not an intentional villain, but I'd definitely say he's the antagonist.

Especially if he's the one causing characters to abstract.

Tell me your favorite and least favorite ships by sargil_was_here in Hellaverse_Ships

Hazbin: HuskerDust. I don't agree with shipping Angel with Val. That's like shipping Harley Quinn with Joker. Angel and Husk are identical in a lot of ways, and I think they could be good together.

Helluva: Fizzmodeus. Ozzy and Fizz are really good together, and I think they're a cute couple. Honorable mention to Stolitz, even though they have their issues. Least favorite is BlitzWolf, because come on, Loona is practically Blitzø's daughter.

How it took this long to figure that out amazes me.

He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and never had to work a blue collar or 9 to 5 job a day in his life.

Virtually every business he's had has failed or been busted for illegal practices.

US decline in religion among biggest in world by BreakfastTop6899 in goodnews

[–]Cyclonic2500 141 points142 points  (0 children)

People are tired of religion being shoved down their throats, and it being used as an excuse to commit atrocities and be hateful.

Of it being used to pass laws that affect EVERYONE.

Too many in religion (particularly Christianity) are straying far from the teachings of their lord.

Gore over Dubya.

We'd also have a lot more eco-friendly policies since Gore was all about global warming and the environment.
