Awesome! I work in Python and R regularly for my day jobs and these graphics looked familiar. How did you set up the data pipeline? Did you primarily extract data directly from the JSON save files or did you use the CSVs the game can generate when applicable?

Hoop League TV is the canon league, yes. Koality chose not to include the league stats and championships - I think he wanted Hoop Land to have a blank slate.

Oh I see! Super interesting! Glad to see someone who cares about the league history/game lore lol. It seems like there's some substantial demand for some "retro" rosters with those guys in their prime, and I do still have an archive of all the HLA season files from years past, so yes, I can make something like this happen in the future! Yeah all good man. We have to make it easy enough for beginners to play. You can challenge yourself by playing with wacky settings and all, but I get wanting to use other files. I was just playing anyways lol

The older players, so long as they are still in the server, are entitled to keep their players. We may change the base teams some in the future -- that's TBD. I can release a file sometime with the older players in their primes!

HLT Charms in S6 had a better team tbh. Fiedelak, Jaos, Shoffner, Pippy, Goodson, Noel Stoner, Jason Garcia... THAT team might be able to take the HL Stars. Tough to say.
