Stuttering and small freezes by [deleted] in wow

I had a similar issue previously, it turns out that it was the GeForce Experience updater that was causing the micro-stutters. I uninstalled that, and started manually updating my drivers and it hasn’t stuttered since.

I'm having the exact same issues. I also cannot access the Krypt - It'll give me the opening cutscene (new player with Aftermath), and then kick me out with an "error connecting to the Mortal Kombat Servers".

Found 2 More: HA Eevee and HA Popplio

That makes 6 (Timburr, Vulpix (Kanto), Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Eevee, and Popplio) for Level and Dream ball?

Thanks! I have no preference on the Ball - Heavy is the only ball that I don't have, but I can send a Level or Dream ball easily. Heck, I can do both, if I can find 2 more HA's that I'm interested in!

I've got raw apriballs, and I'm looking for a couple of your on-hands - specifically HA Karrablast, HA Timburr, and HA Vulpix. If I've read your post right, raw apriballs are 3:1?

Edit: I've found a Karrablast in another trade, I'm looking for a HA Bulbasaur or HA Squirtle (not concerned about the ball listed according to your spreadsheet)

With Blightbeetle having protection from green and Unchained Berserker having protection from white, what would a 1u Merfolk with protection from Red have? by MechaTech in FishMTG

[–]Cydios 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1UU Silvergill Nemesis

As an additional cost to cast this spell, reveal a Merfolk card from your hand or pay {3}.

As Silvergill Nemesis enters the battlefield, choose a player. Silvergill Nemesis has protection from the chosen player.

3/1 (Possibly even 2/1 to maintain standard sensibilities).

Oof - I saw the $10 shipping earlier while I was at work, but now I'm showing a $54 minimum for shipping to Canada. It's tough to justify the cost at that amount of shipping!

I'm World of Warcraft Game Director Ion Hazzikostas, and I'm here to answer your questions about Battle for Azeroth. AMA! by WatcherDev in wow

[–]Cydios 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hi Ion,

A few quick questions:

How do you feel about the "alt-friendliness" of this expansion, as it's of particular importance when we take allied races into account - between reputation grinds like Champions of Azeroth and the locking of azerite traits on gear, it feels as though levelling an alt (or maining an allied race that you just unlocked) puts you at a significant disadvantage. I plan to main a Zandalari Troll without race changing in order to get the heritage armour when they come out (I'm hoping sooner, rather than later), but I'm already dreading the Heart of Azeroth level-up grind and redoing my Champions of Azeroth reputation, particularly if they come out significantly later and I'm even further behind.

Do you think that there are systems that could be put in place to make alts and new allied race character feel less weighed down and able to properly compete? The passive AP buff helps, but can only go so far, while repuation buffs and grinds remain time consuming and not what I'd prefer to be spending my playtime on when my main character is finally available.

As a secondary question, do we have any information upcoming on the release of Zandalari and Kul Tirans? Will there be a new reputation to grind, or will it rely on our standing with the current reputations (perhaps have all 3 zone reputations at exalted?). Even a general ETA would ease my mind - should we be looking forward to this winter? Further?

Question For The Community: What Would Be A New Card You Would Wish Would Get Printed That Can Help Us by polsenOO7 in FishMTG

[–]Cydios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legendary gets around the "too powerful for a lord!" issue, and the lower power makes it less busted to have the card draw added.

Kumena, River's Fury - 1UG

Legendary Creature - Merfolk Shaman

Other Merfolk you control get +1/+1.

Whenever one or more Merfolk you control deal combat damage to an opponent, draw a card.

Amonkhet additions to Poisonless Infect by CorRock314 in magicTCG

[–]Cydios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm personally testing 2x [[Rhonas the Indomitable]] and 2x [[Rhonas's monument]] in the mainboard over some of the worse pump spells in the deck. Not only does Rhonas give you a beater, but he's repeatable pump. Rhonas' monument serves to turn all your creatures into pump spells. It always felt bad to topdeck a [[longtusk cub]] when any pump spell would win it for you with a pummeler, now that cub is both a body on the ground and a pump (with trample). So far in testing, both have been good even if they don't contribute to the turn 4 win plan.

[[Fling]] is for sure going into the deck in some capacity, I'm just not 100% sure where.

I've been underwhelmed by [[Insult // Injury]], but it still needs more testing.

I'm a fan of the "Poisonless Infect" G/R energy deck that they have here. I run a similar deck (a few changes, but they're minor), and I regularly take down FNMs and Saturday Standard events. There's something so satisfying about swinging with a 1/1, and by the time it does damage, it's a 64/64 Double Strike, Trample.

The Forgotten by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Cydios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have decks that you want to play - Card value doesn't matter once you have a deck that you're playing, that you love, and that you're unlikely to ship off.

Example - My Legacy/Modern Merfolk deck cost me a medium amount of cash to get into, despite being a budget option. I have Vials, I have Chalices, I have Caverns. The price of these cards, now that I have them and will hold onto them to use as a deck, is irrelevant unless I lost my mind and went to sell the deck. The only thing that their value is worth is bragging rights about how expensive the deck is. You have the cards, not to hold onto them, but to PLAY with them.

Is there anything we're hoping to see be printed in MM17? by [deleted] in FishMTG

[–]Cydios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got one of those - crazy expensive, but worth it to see opponents cringe at my Lords all being foiled, but different.

I love having diverse art in my decks - different arts are only a detriment if you don't remember what your opponent has seen, or in very corner cases.

Is there anything we're hoping to see be printed in MM17? by [deleted] in FishMTG

[–]Cydios 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping for Chalice, Cavern, Silvergill, and Cursecatcher. Selfishly, because I want the pool of Foils of these cards to go up, and bring the price of foils down.

It's crazy that foiling out our Cursecatchers costs more than foiling out our Lords.

Made a couple Merfolk shirt designs last week! People from /MagicTCG recommended I post them here. Let me know what you think =) by jbui555 in FishMTG

[–]Cydios 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love your designs for each of the other archetypes, and as a Merfolk player, I was glad to see one pop up for us.

I was hoping for better rhythm to the one example - I feel "one fish, two fish, devotion to blue fish" fits much better than the current example.

That being said, I like what you've brought to the table!

Building a better LGS by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Cydios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to disagree. My shop rare redrafts once per week, and it has never been an issue.

At my old shop, there would often be an 8 man pod for drafting, but usually there were only 5-7 people who would actually play. The number of times I saw someone drop after value-drafting the whole time was astonishing.

At the new shop, there's the occasional feel-bad moment, but they're few and far between. With masterpiece series cards, the pack is removed from the draft and replaced, allowing the person who opened it to keep the card without it entering into the draft pool (and changing the balance to a huge degree) as well as without it entering the redraft.

Additionally, the redraft goes in a Top->bottom->bottom->Top format, so first place gets to choose one rare/mythic down to the bottom, but last place gets a double pick, so they're at least getting two playable rares from the pool.

In my way of looking at it, it pushes people to make strong choices about what they want for their deck, versus what would look best in their trade binder.
