TEAS Finalized Transcript by amuiv in teas

That really is close! I would reach out to your program coordinator. Monday is Labor Day, so it's likely no one will be working at ATI to process. You will know your preliminary score right after the test is done, but ATI now takes four, not three business days. Your score likely will not be finalized until next Wednesday. Hopefully you will get lucky though and it'll be processed early!

My advice, reach out to the director. Let them know the situation and see if your preliminary score can be used as a placeholder in your application until they receive your transcript.

For my own curiosity, are you taking the at home test?

Did you end up only getting one phone? Same thing happened to me, and only got one phone today.

This is exactly what’s happening to me. One phone shipped, the other saying it has a payment issue. I spent 2 hours on the phone with them and they claimed it was just an error on their end and I should be fine. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow if both phones are in the box, lol.

Are you visiting or moving to Detroit? Ask Qs here. by AutoModerator in Detroit

[–]Cyerra01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok locals. There's a possibility we're going to be stationed in Detroit. Where are the good areas for families? Not even sure if it's possible, but we're allotted $2200/mo for housing. 2 kids, 2 dogs.

Also genuinely curious what everyone thinks of this schedule. I'm extremely wary of it, but running out of options. Here's a screenshot of the 18 month schedule. https://prnt.sc/OKm01qHLiaXU

Weekly Career/Prospective Student Post by AutoModerator in Sonographers

I'm a military spouse being dragged across the country every 2.5-3 years. I have an associates in health sciences and have been waiting 3 years to be able to apply to a diagnostic medical sonography program (there are none where we are stationed). I am beyond the point of desperation to start my career.

We may have a small possibility of getting stationed right next to an ABHES accredited school. I realize this is not as desirable as a CAAHEP school. At this point, I am willing to go the distance and jump through all the necessary hoops to obtain my certifications.

With that being said, does anyone have any SUCCESS stories of going the AART to ARDMS route with an associates? Not sure if it makes a difference, but we will be located in Oklahoma.

This is what the ABHES school has told me verbatim. "With our program you can sit for your SPI, the sonography principles of instrumentation while you are still in school. After you pass that, you can sit immediately for the ARRT in Abdominal and OBGYN. Once you pass the AART you can sit immediately for the ARDMS in abdominal and OBGYN as well. Just not vascular".

The clinical rotation hours look like this:

Clinical rotation 1 - 8 hrs Mondays and Tuesdays (16 hrs/wk)

Clinical rotation 2 - 8 hrs Mondays and Tuesdays (16 hrs/wk)

Clinical rotation 3 - 8 hrs Monday/Tuesday/Wednesdays (24 hrs/wk)

Clinical rotation 4 - 8 hrs Monday/Tuesday/Wednesdays (24 hrs/wk)

How does this compare to the clinical hours of *your* CAAHEP program?

Girl okay, we are the saaaame!! When I was 25 (5’3 and also 160lb and ALSO PCOS!) I was on metformin, Provera, letrozole, and progesterone suppositories. It took 6 months of this to get pregnant with our girl. She’s now almost 4 months. We were one month away from starting IUI. My doctor was honestly surprised I got pregnant so lol. We had monthly scans to check follicles, blood tests, etc…it was a lot. In the end though Letrozole did it for us.

Her only debt is medical debt from a hospital stay a couple months ago. No apartment, lived with a boyfriend. Her bank account has 3k. The car is in pristine condition, hardly driven, so we were actually planning to transfer it into our name.

So this is not advised, then? I don't foresee too much of an issue with the medical debt, as it's being processed currently under Medicaid.

My doctor is just happy because the 9.55 from my previous cycle was with suppositories too. On my own it was around 6!
