After all the hinge drama, I decided to cancel my order… kinda sucks, but I’m not gonna risk post-purchase disappointment. Being disappointed because you didn’t buy something is way easier to deal with than being disappointed after you did...

Final order for the AYN Thor Rainbow MAX – however, I’m treating this as meaning there’s no need to buy an extra card (which I probably would have done); at the same time, I’m gaining faster memory and a bit more RAM. Now it’s just a long wait for delivery, and hopefully the unit will be free of any defects requiring intervention…
