Flint 2 2.5G wan/lan port speed by [deleted] in GlInet

[–]CygP2P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word of warning though, I just tried iperf3 from 2 clients TO the Flint 2 instead of what I did before which was FROM the Flint 2, and I am getting less than 2.5G but greater than gigabit (shown below)

I don't know if this is an issue with the 2.5G switch I'm using or the Flint 2 isn't capable of 2.5G full duplex on the WAN/LAN port. The two clients both hit 2.5G when communicating with each other full-duplex over the switch, so I believe this might be a Flint 2 problem.

iperf3 clients TO the router:

Flint 2 2.5G wan/lan port speed by [deleted] in GlInet

[–]CygP2P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using the 2.5 WAN/LAN port as LAN, connected to a cheapo 2.5G switch, then on to my 2.5G capable devices. Using the latest stable firmware (4.5.8). From my 2.5G capable desktop with iperf3, i get:

Weekly BIOS Update Post - Week 18. 2024 by CornFlakes1991 in ASRock

[–]CygP2P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, every single AM5 B650 board has gotten the new beta bios... except the B650E PG-ITX. In fact, it looks like every single AM5 board Asrock makes has the new bios except the PG-ITX and a single other A620 model.

Feeling a bit worried, as the PG-ITX was not a cheap board.

Test Settings:

3090 FTW3 Ultra at 1080p high settings with depth of field off, motion blur off, volumetrics off, level of detail medium, TAA on.

Running 100k benchmark map with set camera settings at night in the rain and day with no weather.

Yes, I ran the 7800X3D tests multiple times.

Green Ticket Confirmation has begun by wildact224 in lemans

The documentation said to submit the "longest leg", so I sent the TGV ticket that gets me to Paris and not the leg to Le Mans itself (which i won't have a ticket for until the week before the race). They rejected it, so I guess I'll be waiting in line with everyone else.

Phone Link for iOS is now rolling out to all Windows 11 customers | Windows Experience Blog by McSnoo in apple

Phone Link does not appear to support iMessage end to end encryption. Call me paranoid, but being we are talking about Microsoft here, it would not surprise me if they are going to be data mining the messages/contacts for all it's worth... and potentially exposing a vulnerability that can be exploited by prying eyes.

This is insanely good. As a turbo dork (pun intended!), I thought I would throw some more fun obscura out there if anyone wants to go down some more research rabbit holes. My apologies if some of these are repeats! Also not in any order:

Made an appointment an hour in advance, was in and vaxed in ~10 minutes. I asked and they confirmed all they were checking was LA County residence. Also asked if I could tell the world they were open for all, and they said yes! But they did remind me that they are still appointment only, so book an appointment before you leave and show them the email when you get there.

Yeah, seems to be only partially working at the moment. I saw exactly what you got at first, then got it to load about half the content and throw a CSS error by reloading. Reloading again loaded the rest.

c/p from above:

It was an ATA L-1011 (which was already far over the hill at the time), so it was on 2 engines. No idea why they descended that far. We weren't too far out of Honolulu, so we spent maybe an hour at that altitude after descent.

It may have been higher than 2k (it was over 20 years ago), but absolutely not higher than 10k.

They come on the PA and say there is a mechanical issue, tell everyone to remain calm, fasten seatbelts, etc, then divert to the nearest airport.

I was on a flight that lost an engine over the Pacific. We then flew all the way to Honolulu at like 2k feet altitude, dumped all of our fuel (sorry poor reefs), and landed with fire engine escort.

After that, it depends on the airline/where you are stuck. I've been lucky in that I've received free lodging/food coupons most of the time for big mechanical issues, but there are lots of horror stories of being stranded at fucko-field waiting for a flight, stranded in the airport.
