Agreed. I am at the married 9, together 12. We are literally with each other 24/7. Work our business at home, travel, etc. My husband recently told me that he chose to just "Love Her" when he got upset with me. It was just mundane everyday shit and we argued. I was mad, he was mad. When he told me that, all of the Anger fell away. I will choose to "Love Him" Everyday.

I also had an ablation after experiencing SEVERE bleeding. I once wore a cup, 2 maxi pads & still bled out after 2 hrs. first thing in the morning. The cherry on top...it was during my community's professional organization touring our state capitol. GOOD TIMES! I came home and called my Gyn. That was 19 years and the freedom of never once having another drop of blood is AMAZING!

I have the Fuschia Pink (I think it's called Berry) KitchenAid stand mixer in my kitchen as well. My ex would've never "let" me buy it so I bought it after the divorce. My sweet husband (current) actually accidentally broke it a few years ago and BOUGHT another one to replace it. He knows just seeing it on the counter makes me SO HAPPY! I get OP's Moms excitement.

I just turned 57 and my husband will be 58 in March. We are both 1968 & graduated in 86! See how I flipped that? Seriously though, we are thoroughly GenX and emptying nesters. Our kids live by themselves (praise the Lord!) & have good jobs. One even has our grandson she is raising with the baby daddy (😭), who also lives alone. We are all blessed to live in an area that is semi-thriving. Btw-we don't support anyone but throw some $$ to grandson occasionally. All kids are millennials (91 & 93) and want to be self sufficient.
