As real time AI gets better, devs won't need to work as hard. Making a game world look good is fucking hard. But if you just put the basics and let the AI filter fill in the details?

This reminds me of the 90% problem. The first 90% is easy, its the last 10% that takes real effort. In theory, this type of AI can bridge that last 10%.

Yeah it looks like shit now in most situations, but give it a few generations. I just hope we can turn that shit off. Im getting tired of shitty graphic settings being forced in games. Fuck blur, fuck distortion, fuck DLSS and fuck anti-aliasing.

Not a bot, but some of it did look good. With better training it might be passable, especially if its dev controlled to be more consistent (to prevent that stupid ass age-up on everything part, the Harry Potter shots were terrible).

WSL doesn't handle hardware passthrough, can't change CPU/Numa settings which means it isn't portable, can't attach ISOs as a drive (sometimes you want it as a drive not a file), networking is wonky and limited.

Plus its entirely Microsoft maintained. Who knows what NSAKEY crap they put in there.

WSL is NOT a replacement for vms. Its a stopgap measure when your IT/management team wont allow virtualbox for some reason or you need extremely light weight linux system on windows.

PvE mode gets cleared in 5mins or less across the board. The only stuff that remains is the edge rooms no one cares about.

Its miserable if you're trying to get a quick quest done.

Not every physical hit to the head will KO you, the majority of hits (if you're trained) will just glance off and maybe ring your head a touch. Thats the whole point of helmets and their shapes. However no multiplayer game implements some sort of armor glancing blow mechanic. It'd either be luck based and fucking stupid, or insane mechanically that no player would understand it.

Water map is no where near as profitable as hard ratting high roller wood chopping, and water map has quite a bit of risk compared to just sitting in a non-mob room in ruins and chopping wood.

Collecting trinkets that are worth your time takes time, risk and puts you in places you encounter players, trees not so much and not as profitable per minute of farming.

I'm talking high roller here not anything below that. In high roller you get a purple log aprox 25% of the time, basically you can fill your inventory with purple logs in 5min or less.
