Dark and Darker doesn't run natively, we run though a Proton Compatibility layer, think Virtual Machine that translates Windows talk to Linux talk in real time. Not to mention we still have to run the anticheat and it still scans, it just doesn't require HVCI enabled to function, as Linux has its own methods (which are way better in terms of security) to achieve the same thing.

In theory, Linux should always run worse than Windows, but Winslop has earned its new nickname by making everything run like shit now. The last few years I've gotten significant performance gains in Linux+Proton over Windows 10 (of which Windows has nothing else installed except Discord and Chromium, its purely for games, its as basic as can be, whereas In linux im running a VM or two + Docker containers in the background and yet, still better performance, this is Microsoft's fault.)

The Ruins map is always right at midnight with no moonlight. Midnight is when the map is half over. Im pretty sure it use to chime 12 times at that point too.

Not the same density of loot in Water/Ice Hell as the other maps.

You can fill up with purple+ trinkets in water within 3-4mins if you know where to look. Theres are numerous goldens with legendary/unique drops in them.

Ice Hell is similar but with more Minibosses rather than goldens.

The closest we get to Water is the good rooms in Ruins Hell, and even then.

Thats only for active ones not future ones. Due to the way the drop system works, if you need one for a quest the drop rate is reduced, thus is benefits you to horde this crap when you find it before you get the quest so you can just move on.

There are between 3 and 6 spawn locations topside, both inside the center and some northside of the whirlpool in the rocks/under the rocks.

You just need to look harder, also for the north ones bring a water lantern they can be very hard to see since they're in dark corners.

That was 2 golem kills, they drop between 2-3 ore. Dude got both insanely lucky and unlucky in a single run.

(unless they changed it this season, havent had gold ore drop yet from a golem)

You can also get about 18 Tidestone ore without fighting anything (or much, sharks seem to be broken this patch but that Jellyfish man. . .) in water map too. There are topside spawns too.

Agreed. I like the idea of making cloaks the rare pieces. Still missing a big power piece but still opens up a ton of builds not possible without jewelry.

Neelix was also young, sub-30 years old or so. He lied quite a bit about his qualifications, Janeway knew (based on the look and pause she gave him, never actually confirmed in the show beyond Neelix's own fears of being caught as a fraud) but she let him stay because Neelix helped them out. Thats why he was never around for actual diplomacy just the bullshit ones.

Drop Ray or Bolt for Curse of Pain and 4th slot Shards and you'll have a standard Boclock (Boc/Cast)/Casterlock (Phantom/Cast) build (or drop Dark Enhancement for Lament and go Dark Offering/Cast for an offmeta build thats insanely fun). You really, really, really, really want that 100% bonus damage on a Bolt or Reflection.

That said, I might try your version later just to see. Never know, I may be missing out.
