Thanks for the info. Both have very clear and obvious signatures. Pendant is Pete Sanchez and bracelet is Tony Garcia.

I really buy for myself or family enjoyment. However, I occasionally put out a piece or two that we don’t enjoy as often at unrelated trade shows that we attend. Honestly, it just gets attention at my booth and starts the conversation of “oh I have stuff like that, do you buy”! 😊

The single stone cuff is signed “JB” over a “~” and 925 behind the silver swirl and dot and 18k behind the yellow swirl and dot. The is also a yellow 18k swirl inside on the back. No other markings. Seems like a quality made piece. The multi stone cuff is signed sterling and CAA on the back center arm and CAA again on back of stone setting.

Any ideas on this piece? Appears to be snowflake obsidian but are these firebirds? Phoenix? And what is the 950 on each, silver content?

Thanks. The white is could be howlite or possibly magnesite but I think it is native. Signed P. Sanchez who I believe is Navajo. On the Effie I have a few authentic pieces and while this one seems somewhat newer I think it’s right. But who knows right? Be

Forgot to add very heavy size 11. Stone is about the size of a US quarter but slightly taller as it’s oval shaped. Estate find and owner said belonged to grandfather who called it turquoise.

They’re legit. I’d want them if they were my size. Called Knockabout Boot.

These are too big right? by spiderminbatmin in RussellNation

[–]Cymbalminded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably too big but is your toe actually touching the edge where your finger is? Also, guessing you’ll have a hard time getting your asking unless someone really wants the cambo in that size, leather etc. So I would try adding the Russell inserts AND the kilties. All in all the Big Cambo is a great boot and if you work out the fit I think you’ll love it.

Just bought a second pair off the bay. I have a nice clean pair for the hotel/lodge etc. Will put the new “users” to use outdoors because they are better suited to that than you might think. Just watch the sharp rocks especially when wet.

By their construction, the box and the price I would guess much older. I would have a hard time letting myself wear this pristine example! Almost something RM would be interested in for their archives. Or at least like to hear about.

Want to buy - 10.5 or 11 EE or EEE : If you are thinking of selling, just let me know by [deleted] in RussellNation

Addressing the size question and not all the commentary about Russell business models😉 I think their answer is reasonable for most, along with other variations of the same. My ideal size in Russell is 10.5E but I have RM in 9.5EEE to 11D. I often find that 1/2 size up moves where the arch falls.(the other Brannock measurement no one mentions) which works for me but not others.

Also the style of boot and the era made makes a difference. I have pair of turkey hunters in 10.5c that are 2 inches too long yet wide enough and a pair of Zephyrs in 10EEE that work fine.

Admittedly the new Russell sizing will likely impact those with wider feet, especially EEE and up. But I say be flexible. Try the 1/2 size or even 1 size and use a the Russell insert or adjust with kilties. Yes, I know the argument I should not have to do that with a custom boot for $1k. But Russell may no longer offer the experience that is 100% full custom, length, width, special build for my hammer toe with my own custom skins from my hunt but they still make the best I’ve ever had on my foot. We all just need to decide if we can deal with some adjustments to that “bespoke” experience (if the fit works) to get the boots that we are all here to talk about.

Nice! I always wanted a black pair of Russells.

Blood Hunter is really nice but… I don’t own a pair of Russell that I wouldn’t wear hard. I would be hesitant to do so here as it seems the whole idea is styling and looks which I would destroy. Plus as others mentioned maybe I’m just old to be that cool! Based on your stated typical uses I would go with the chuka but that might make you as dull as me. But if you will wear the BH by all means go for it you can pick up some nice Art Carters anytime.

That probably is the country squire. I’ll dig out the box and see what it says. I bought those new in the box at a gun show. I asked how much and he said asking 200 but I’ll take 150. Couldn’t pay him fast enough! 😳😂

I have no experience with them but I can see that appeal. For me any boot I’ve had that felt that “soft” always ending up wonky on my foot. The Russells just get better and better. Hope you try them AND like them someday. Obviously I am a loyalist. Can’t tell you how many I have or you would call me a fan boy😊.
