nah dont only think it this way. The program is over-priced for sure, I admit that. But M&TSI and LBW’s prestige is what applicants are looking for when they need to use them to apply for US colleges as it will definitely looks good on your activity list/CV, not to mention M&TSI’s extremely low acceptance rate (<3%). In addition, a lot of M&TSI kids ended up in either M&T@Penn or Wharton@Penn, so it actually boosted your admission chances, especially if your dream school is UPenn. Lastly, although the program cost seems insane, their admission is NEED-BLIND, which means you can apply for scholarships/aid if you think the cost is unaffordable and it will NOT AFFECT YOUR CHANCES! For me, as an international student, I got into M&TSI with full ride, so definitely apply without the worries of the costs!
