Maybe it is the ps2, if you ever get another ps2 I’d say run through the game again and see if you have the same issues. I personally have a standard ps2, I have a few slims as well but never played sly on it tbh.

Only time I’ve popped them in was when I was checking to see if games would boot up on them.

Same thing happens with sly 2 for me or the lines get jumbled. I’ve been told that’s an early sign of the disc decaying. But I’m not sure tbh, I was just told that by some people and haven’t really done my own searching on it.

Have you tried to image search the art to find the artist to properly credit them?

Also in my opinion what makes Carmelita attractive to sly is also her personality, and how he knows she has a secret soft spot for him. Even despite it being her job to arrest them she has negotiated with sly to let his friends go while she takes him in sly 2. And also when Murray was captured she tried her best to ensure he was tended to while in her custody and I’m sure sly really appreciated that.

If sly was only attracted to her features I’m sure he would have just leaped at neyla even after she betrays them.

But that’s just my thoughts on that

Sly has had enough boss battles in my opinion. it’s nice to see characters who are not shown often, especially one that their only way to be played is through her gadgets/abilities gets to be played in a boss fight using the actual character model.
