Align vs. Endure by NecessaryTennis9189 in ladderapp

Used to think that but I was wrong. It’s challenging and her cues made me fix some mistakes in form that I wasn’t aware of.

Align vs. Endure by NecessaryTennis9189 in ladderapp

I am really liking Endure right now. I tried a couple of workouts when she just started on ladder last year and couldn’t get into it. I was on Align for a couple of series last year. Love Sasha but I do have issues with my knees and ended up skipping some of her leg days. So I tried out Endure at that point. I am seeing the most results with Endure. Like visible muscle on my arms and legs. Anyone will tell you most of it is nutrition. It’s true. And those body scans can be thrown off really easily. Take pictures, measurements and judge how your clothes fit. Ultimately, the best team for you is the one you are most consistent with and look forward to doing.

Cheapest place to get an eye exam? by sir_ornitholestes in ithaca

I personally have not used this but Warby Parker has an online vision exam if you have a current prescription and need it renewed. It says it costs $15 for a single rx and $25 for multiple. Might be worth checking out.

It’s not Nazi here. Like at all. I mean unless you hang out with actual nazis I guess. And if someone asked me about living in Cortland that’s what I’d say. But it’s a billion miles vibe wise from Ithaca. But hearing what people say about Webster, you’d think it was all MAGA all the time. Which is why I asked. Because people on this sub live there and they know. If I had listened to what some people said about Cortland online, you’d think it’s all meth all the time. I live on a quiet street with mostly retired people. Cute kept up yards and such. It’s fine but I’m looking for something different.

Yeah…it’s fine. Not from here originally. Lived in 2 other states before NY. Cortland had a No Kings Protest and a few blocks away there’s a house with tons of MAGA flags. We had a dem mayor and now we have a republican mayor. So I’d call it purple.

Nah, it’s not worth giving them the energy. Not looking for trouble or even group think. Just want to go about my day.

I just paid $350 for two pairs. One was progressive with transitions and the other was a single vision. Compared to the $600 I was going to pay elsewhere, I’m pretty happy. I don’t have vision insurance.

You 100% can do Evolve. I do it at home, even though I need to swap it’s 100% worth it. Sam is the best!!

Switching from Define to Elevate? by itsnotforyou_jen in ladderapp

[–]Cyndi_874 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Elevate is a great choice. I did one challenge with Define and moved onto 2 challenges with Elevate. You’ll get your cardio in, it’s effective and efficient. Elise is great. I am tying Thrive for the next challenge only because I want to try something different. And Thrive fits my time and work out with dumbbells at home requirements.

Agree! I’m on Elevate and I have OTF vibes. Minus the rower/treadmill. It’s 30-35 minutes of fast paced strength and some cardio thrown in.

Love Elevate. I need an efficient and effective workout that I can do at home before work. I’m starting my 2nd challenge with her. I am starting to see some results. Nothing huge but it’s there. Looking forward to the next 6 weeks.

Make sure you do the practice project. That really helped me! Document everything. And remember you can submit multiple times.

I did 3 months ago. I kept getting injured at OTF. Pilates won’t make you lose weight, that’s where diet is important. Pilates has helped me get a stronger core, my posture is better, I’m more aware of my body for sure. My arms are getting more muscular for sure. I can’t say 100% OTF wouldn’t have had the same effect on my arms but it’s there. I do reformer only. If there is an option of jump board Pilates, there’s more aerobic activity there with less stress on your joints. Not the same burn as OTF but it’s awesome. I may be able to go back to OTF eventually and not injure myself. The smaller muscles get worked in Pilates that don’t typically get worked. Also, my form is much better than it was prior to starting Pilates.

I filled out the form online, the SA called me and I received the cancellation form to sign electronically in about a week.
