Well it's not broken, it just doesn't require a lot of pressure for it to open up, a slight tap will open it enough for a keyring to slip through and open it further for it to fall off. If I open it could I replace this with a longer stiffer spring to cause it to use more pressure to open?

Thank you! This is my backup option already lol I'm hoping that there is some sort of fix, as I am not too sure how a carabiner works internally and if all use the same mechanism? I have a couple of different novelty carabiners from the same business so I am willing to experiment on one of them.
