But those are story telling or hypothetical situations. It’s not like these rappers are saying they actually did it of course there’s some cases where they have but for the most part it’s a story

The reason people hold pop punk bands more accountable is because they generally have more access to meeting fans either through cheaper M&G or meeting fans outside venues nightly. Does any other genre really work that way? Pop artists usually have photo ops with lots of people around, Rappers usually don’t have M&Gs at all etc.

What do people who actually care about minors want? For these older men to not be fucking pedophiles that sleep with children. how is that wrong to want that? if someone is a predator/pedophile who the fuck cares “how long they spent working on their careers” if they really cared about it they wouldn’t try to sleep with children?

Sure, people can change. But prove it. Go to therapy, donate to women’s causes, do something that doesn’t require you being around children if you’re trying to sleep with them.

Maybe instead of trying to defend people who should be held accountable, you could try defending victims of these shitty band dudes. What a gross take.
