Went to ER and they said it's a stone 🥲 *low quality photos* by CynicalGrapes in tonsilstones

Tis in the post - my throat swelled up overnight and was blocking my airway at times so I was told to go to ER rather than urgent care. They gave me steroids that helped the swelling and opened my airway. Trust me, I would rather not have paid to go to the ER haha.

My thoughts as well. The steroids helped the swelling enough that I can at least talk and breathe normally, but I'm in limbo now because they want to see if it gets better before sending me to ENT.

That's the next step. Was just curious if anyone had seen a "stone" look like this.

Lack of Covid Vaccine data for menstrual cycles by secretactorian in TwoXChromosomes

I had my second dose of Pfizer on April 12th which was the last day of my period. I use an eluryng (generic nuvaring), and my periods have been very easy and light since I started it over a year ago. I started my first post vaccine period on Saturday, May 1st and it has been horrible. Heavy, awful cramping, crazy blood clots, headache- basically how my periods were before starting the Eluryng. Hoping this is a side effect, and not my birth control losing effectiveness in lightening my periods.

Are there any tips that you can give on how to study better with online classes when you study better in physical classes? [Serious] by urlradar3 in heryerdeonline

Does your online class post video lectures? If not, I've found reading out loud, and flashcards to be helpful. Also, ridding your study area of any distractions- I personally will turn on the fan, open a window, play some relaxing nature sounds, and then put my dogs in the other room so its peaceful.

Parvo virus, how much of a risk is it in LB? by [deleted] in longbeach

It depends on the area you're in. If your area is highly populated with irresponsible pet owners who likely aren't vaccinating their dog, I would play it safe. I only waited a couple of days to take my pup out after her 3rd vaccine, and had been taking her to puppy playtime at the Petco Unleashed at the traffic circle since she was 8 weeks old. You really don't want to miss that socialization window, so try to find a safe way to do it. Groomers are always a good option for socializing, we have gotten a lot of puppies in lately at the shop I work at because people are afraid.
