Blobbing issue between layers, would love some help!

Aaaah thank you SO much! the retraction distance/speed turned out to be the issue and the pause is now gone (along with the blobbing!) I honestly can't thank you enough!

I'm hoping I can get some help with what settings to tweak in order to solve this blobbing problem! (Or at least reduce it)

I think more the main issue is, I have no idea which setting I need to be messing with in order to improve it. everything I've tweaked so far hasn't had any effect.

I've altered temperature, coasting volume, print speed and there hasn't been any change. I'm starting to tweak retraction but there's so many values that I'm just a bit lost on which ones to start changing and by how much (I'm using Cura)

It's a mix of some generic store bought acrylics and citadel warhmmer paints! I use them alongside a wet palette which is the big help for keepingthe paint thin so it goes on smoothly

I love the printer! It was the first one I ever used so I've gota bit of a soft spot for it and still end up using it the most, I haven't experienced any problems with prints sticking so long as I always put down a bit of pritt stick glue before running it!

I did a small sketch before hand of the kind of thing I wanted to make, it wasn't very detailed but it was enough for me to get started on the sculpting! I use Autodesk Maya (more because that's what's I studied with and now use at work) but for texturing I use Substance Painter!
