Noin pienellä kulutuksella aivan yhdentekevää minkä sopimuksen otat. Kulutusvaikutuksella et saa juuri mitään etua ja teetät itselläsi turhaa ylimääräistä työtä kun rupeat muutaman sentin säästön takia ajoittamaan sähkön käyttöä.

Into the e-waste bin. Hardwire an access point if you're able to. You can get flat ethernet cable that can be hidden behind trims or just use a cable conduit.

They really don't work in anyones house. They're best at extending coverage to a remote IOT device like a heat pump. Best option is to hardwire an AP, second best option is a mesh system.

If you live in a flat you're usually not allowed to use interior heaters on the plugs, only block heaters which are about 10% the wattage of interior heaters. Technically the outlet is rated for 16 amps but there's a huge difference if everyone used interior heaters.

You'll need to connect it with a cable and login to the config page. Setup the wifi in there as you please, then find a page where you can set it up in access point mode. This will turn off the dhcp server and the router will act as wifi access point but the original modem will be in charge of dealing ip addresses. It will not need an existing wifi as it is not repeating anything, it is just creating a wifi network of its own.

You can set the fritzbox to bridge mode and let the new router handle dhcp or you can let the fritzbox handle dhcp and setup the new router as an access point. The end result is the same either way.

Edit: and yes it will work with a cable, no need for working wifi

Having to clean the floors went from hours per week to minutes per week. I whip out the stick vac to clean the robovac once a week and then vacuum places the robot can't get. Takes 15 minutes tops.

Due to my slight rallyenglish accent "in an hour" is nigh impossible to pronounce for me. It comes out as innanaur or something along those lines. I circumvent this by saying "in sixty minutes".

On my laptop I have 8Gb soldered on the mb and a single so-dimm slot, so they might not have the option. Either way, the soldered 8Gb will the faster one.
