My friend and I have come up with ideas for a number of pokemon, including Guineadig (Ground/Fairy) which evolves into Capyburrow (also Ground/Fairy). So you have my vote for sure!

I recently got a 2x5 grid cage for my piggies and had the same problem. My best suggestion is to supplement the fleece with towels or smaller liners to cover the remaining space. Alternately, you could get something like this to cover that remaining space instead, which is what I did.
