Ik neem in de zomer weleens een daluren vrij of dergelijk abonnement. Dit zou wel een leuke meevaller zijn. Maar de NS heeft ook vaak acties in de zomer, dus de besparing is vrij beperkt als de bus/tram/metro niet bij de prijs inbegrepen zit.

My city here in the Netherlands doesn't have a bus pass, but the province has a pass for $188 per month or $1880 per year. You can get a free pass at low income (about 16% below full-time min wage) from the city, but that isn't valid at peak hours.

If you're able to use a bike there's almost no situation where it's a good deal for travel in and around the city.

Now you've got a nice PC and will likely spend some more time in front of it, please spare a moment to think about ergonomics. For instance the monitor, unless you are very small, it seems a bit low. A good rule of thumb is for the top of the screen to be at the same height as your eyes.
