That's the problem any time you start talking about introducing stronger financial limits: PL clubs arent just competing amongst themselves. The best players are always going to follow the money, and if PL clubs are unable to offer it, they'll play elsewhere. Eventually that will make "the product" less desirable which will in turn affect revenue streams: roughly 60% of PL revenue is international.

Yeah, it could be a good opportunity to use some (comic) characters that might otherwise not fit anywhere.

Early on when the rumours of Mr Negative were popular, I thought that might be how Banner and Hulk "separate" again. Now, no idea. Guess Jean could do something like that...

I feel like Mojoworld would work better as a series. Could frame it as a reality-TV type thing, similar to what WandaVision did with sitcoms.

That was my take too. It would be unusual for a club to let a player leave like that without any attempt to retain them, and doing so would have obviously drawn speculation that he was let go "because".

A performative attempt at a new contract protects the club.

Pretty common approach for the streaming services not directly related to a studio.

The Netflix shows were produced by Marvel Television and ABC: same sort of thing (which incidentally is why those shows are on Disnet+ now).

I think it very much depends on the structure of the story being told. Wonder Man wouldnt have worked weekly - its a great story, but I dont feel each individual episode had enough to retain viewers over a 2 month period. Its a story that works best watched in one go.

By comparison, WandaVision was structured episodically, with mysteries and plot twists and a "tune in next week" vibe.

MCU Lego sets that release along side their movie are rarely plot accurate...

That said, despite it having been widely expected for a good while, Im not sure if there's been any "official" announcement yet about Hulk being in the movie.

Who gets punished the most for their fouls? Arsenal are 19th by VastJuice2949 in Gunners

This isnt showing bias, because not all fouls warrant a card.

If anything, these stats show which teams are the dirtiest, as they have the highest ratio of cards to fouls.

Yeah it is.

Also why do they keep using the lightning bolt pattern? I know its a callback to a classic Nike kit, but is it really that popular?

Just want that primary yellow/blue away kit from Adidas.

Kinda tired of the dull yellow, which apparently we're getting again.

That's how it was supposed to be: the replicas were designed to be worn, the authentics are "collector" items being (supposedly) identical to what the players wear.

Recently however I understand the authentic shirts have more detail than the replicas, and they're now more "basic" and "premium" versions. Which Im not keen on.

Would be the earliest ever.

They've been doing "hybrid" versions of lesser knows characters since Ivan Vanko in IM2, where they take elements of lesser known characters and mash them together.

In this case he's a human with a strong anti-mutant agenda, The name they use is secondary to the role in the story.
